Daly Waters Hi-Way Inn reviews
59 Great stop for a night or two in Daly Waters. Boasting both a caravan park and cabins, the accommodation is at the rear of the pub cum post office/petrol station/grocery store.
We found them to be a pretty friendly bunch and the accommodation was clean, tidy and comfortable.

Interesting place to stay rooms are comfortable and great for a family of four. The unit I'm in is a self contained one, however, if you don't feel like cooking they have a great variety of choices. The prices are reasonable and affordable. There is a bar if you are in need of refreshments.
Bought lunch and fuel. The toilets for the roadhouse were disgusting. Up there with the worst.made of concete, stainless steel bowl and corrugated iron walls it wouldn't be too difficult to hose down each day. They stink to the high heavens
Shower floors very slippery not very clean and entrance to showers very steep not good lighting in showers and toilets
Interesting place went for drinks, listened to the singer and had a good look at everthing around the bar
The park and pub were a great stop on the way to Darwin. The visiting duo Lily and the Drum were a magnificent bonus!
Grass sites, friendly staff, pity about the electric boxes keep tripping out.we always stay here on the way to Darwin, and on the way back.
BAD raw sewage smell right through the park. Paying $38 per night for this. I believe they are going to be fixing it this year, but until then, they need to reduce the price of a site to compensate.
Unpowered sites $14 and amenities aging but still caters for a high volume of people in the peak season.
Every thing a long distance driver needs, even loading ramps (both heights). Maybe a few more groceries wouldn't hurt.
We stayed in the camp ground in our motorhome. Bathrooms were dirtiest of our month long trip. Bar staff disinterested. Wine good. Evening entertainment very good.
Had a really good night here after a long drive great home cooked tucker and nice cold beer accomodation right price and comfortable
It's a great spot with a pub and fantastic food.the only drawback is the amenities, they're pretty gruesome
Good stop on our family trip south. Didn't have enough beds in one cabin for our family of 6 but we managed well enough. For bush accommodation it was pretty good and not badly priced.
Stop for petro and a coffe and toilet. Coffee was not good at all order a cappuccino and never find out what kind of coffee that was. Is a nice quick stop to strech your legs after a long drive but not for a coffee.
A caravan park and petrol station in the middle of nowhere the caravan park is select your own spot Park it and you're happy no TV reception naturally the amenities are very basic need a major upgrade if you go for a shower after about 7 you sharing it with about a million moths, frogs and everything else you can think of but you are in the middle of nowhere the food at the cafe is wonderful absolutely big meals and good value
Great place to stay after a long day on the road, I always make this a stop over. I have read the reviews of this place and to the knockers all I can say to you when you pull up, look where you are and you tell me where else can you find a clean well established place like this. I see people whining about prices, to them I say, stop and think how do you think everything gets here.someone has to pay for the truck and insurance, the drivers wages etc.then there is the return trip most likely to Mt Isa nearing 1000 km.
The only issue I have is with the ignorant people who park their vehicles and trailers across the carparks for to hotel rooms taking up 3 to 4 bays when they have 1 room.management should get involved and have them park elsewhere so people can access the room they paid for.
I was driving from Darwin to Brisbane and accidentally hit Kangaroo on the way. My vehicle was broken, staff were very kind and helpful. Also cheap fuel! Great place, great people.
Nice atmosphere. Opens at 6am to 11pm. 7 days a week. Takeaways and dine in. Fuel is at a good price. Gas refills. Cabins. Unp and p sites. Clean amenities and laundry.book a site and receive a free beer or wine or soda in the bar. Pool. Motel. (No pets in motel or cabins)
