Corroboree Billabong Wetland Cruises reviews
71An awesome day. Our guide Evan was excellent - his knowledge was extensive, and he shared it in such a fun and relaxed way. The whole day was well planned and saw so many amazing sights. Highly recommended.
Tonight we experienced the wet land sunset cruise. The staff were fantastic and the cruise was excellent. We even saw some large salties feeding on fish
My wife Jane and I booked the cruise for 12.45 pm cruise on 19 April 2021, it was a wonderful experience whiling cruising on the wetlands for the first time.
The tour guide Chrissy (driver too) together with other staffs Sandy, Allen and Lehi have been very friendly, helpful, and full of knowledges about the wetlands, birds, and chrocos, during the cruising, we all laughing, joking and talking just like a big family for 2.5 hours, strongly recommend and thumbs up
Awesome trip, pick up from Darwin to drop off, with lunch surrounded by lillies and cross, running commentary, its worth the money and experience.
Great day! Enjoy wild life at its best while you cruise along the billabong; The crew had some great stories about the area. This cruise normally begins taking people in early April (thanks for update) When you start to see the dragon flies out, Marking the beginning of dry season best time to visit.
Fantastic experience. Our guide Evan with his expertise, local knowledge and sense of humour made it such an interesting and educational cruise. We were treated to many sightings of wildlife in its natural habitat. Highly recommend this trip.
Just to get back to nature. NT up close and personal. Cruised on our houseboat for 3 days, caught a 65cm barra, saw plenty of crocs and other wildlife and enjoyed beers with stunning sunsets!
We spent 3 fabulous days on a 6 berth houseboat in the corroboree billabong and Mary River October 2020. The houseboat was spacious and comfortable with a good kitchen and fridge, great decks and good beds.
Great customer service and when we had an issue it was dealt with quickly.
Breathtaking scenery. We saw many many dozens of crocs including a feeding frenzy over over 25 crocs when a poor hapless water buffalo became their meal. An unforgettable sight!
The boat was relatively easy to operate and the waterways while narrow in parts, easy to get through.
Highly recommend this experience. Absolutely no swimming!
We had a wonderful time on the Wetland Cruise - Evan, our guide, was very knowledgeable, and entertaining. Plenty of time to admire the fantastic scenery and wildlife. Well worth doing.
A wonderful experience. A beautiful location with plenty of birds and crocodiles. The tranquility of cruising up the River was really relaxing.
I recently thoroughly enjoyed a sunset boat trip on the billabong. The guide and driver (Evo) was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He appeared to love what he was doing and made every effort for the participants to have a wonderful experience. The serenity, the expansiveness of the water ways, the bird life, the waterlilies, the crocodiles and our guide, made for a memorable experience. Would also recommend taking a return coach trip from Corroboriee Tavern for an extra $10.
And great opportunity to see all the wild animals in their own natural environment where they're not jumping out the water and doing things that they don't normally do. Excellent commentary from Evo regarding the local area people, animals and birds that we seen and we also got to have a fantastic sunset as well Perfect Photo opportunities
Absolute belter of a trip. Did the 2.5 lunch cruise today with pick-up from hotel in Darwin. Non-stop commentary with heaps of humour (sadly a tough audience today- but the kiwibrits got it!) Knowledgeable, kind, full of interest. Enough of everything. Best value ever. Highly recommended.not Gary though. He wasn't there
Beautiful memories today xx
What an awesome cruise, lunch was fresh and delicious, our guide Evan was great, so much information and a great sense of humor, highly recommend the lunchtime cruise, kids loved it too! Saw heaps of birdlife and crocs spotted too, we were a little late in the season but apparently heaps more crocs in earlier months but still worth it!
The guy who was with us, Evan, was quite knowledgeable and knew how to keep us entertained. Awesome trip to the billabong would recommend!
Very good tour but disappointed that lunch was served using single use plastic cutlery and containers. Lovely lunch though.
Tours available in the dry season or you will need your own boat of a reasonable size due to crocodile population.
The sunset cruse with Chrissy was SENSATIONAL! She is extremely energetic and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the wetlands. I learned a lot and enjoyed the scenery immensely. Thanks so much Chrissy!
Highly recommend this tour and in my view, equals Yellow Waters. Knowledgeable guides and ok craft. And, if travelling from Darwin easily manageable as a day trip with time to spare.
