Our day with Wetland Cruises was absolutely awesome. Our guide Evan was very knowledgeable and informative. We managed to and photograph everthing Evan sugested we should see plus some. The lunch was great and getting to eat it while cruising the billabong was a nice touch. Very well done.

We had the best time on our sunset cruise with our guide Allan (not Peter lol) he was full of information, plenty of humour and a few dad jokes thrown in a long the way, always making sure everyone was able to take great photos of the wildlife.

Absolutely beautiful cruise. Tour guide was informative and took the boat back when people had spotted something. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who would like to see the crocs and birdlike in the most beautiful setting imaginable.

The one day tour with Evan on 26/09/2023 was a sublime and respectful journey through the wetlands of the Mary River. Evan's humour, subject matter knowledge, quick observation, courtesy towards guests and passion for nature made this trip an absolute delight. It was a privilege to witness birds and animals in their natural environment.
Corroboree Billabong Wetland Cruises took great care to ensure I was looked after from the second I was collected from my hotel to the moment I was returned. I rate it as an outstanding tour group operator and an absolute asset for Northern Territory tourism. Many thanks, Anna.

Corroboree Billabong Wetland Cruises exceeded all our expectations. We saw way more crocs and birds and plant life than we thought we would. Sandy gave us an abundance of relevant information and made sure all on board got a good view by the way she positioned the barge. Highly recommended! We would do it again if there wasn’t so much else to do!

We did the 2.5hr lunch cruise last Thursday, with two friends. It was brilliant. We had heard that we might not see much wildlife in the middle of the day and might be hot, but it was perfect. Our guide Evan was brilliant, catered to our every need, with cold water and a humongous lunch, and got us up close and personal to heaps of crocs and birdlife. He was so passionate about everything, and the time just slipped by. Definitely worth the money and would highly recommend the lunch time cruise.

We had a phenomenal day out from Darwin cruising Corroboree Billabong with Wetland Cruises. The billabong is located just 90 minutes’ drive from the city and offers incredible wildlife viewing opportunities. It’s home to salties, freshies, and lots of birdlife. Cruise guests enjoy an included lunch on the water. This is a fabulous experience. Big shout out to our awesome guide Evan.

Scrolling through some holiday pics and just had to comment! We enjoyed a truely magical experience cruising around the billabong with our delightful guide and great yarn spinner Evan. Thoroughly enjoyed the commentary and loved the beauty of the untouched natural setting. A “must see and experience tour” to add to the holiday calendar!

A great tour run by a really organised, professional company. Our tour guide, Evan, was awesome! Super friendly and animated with great info of the area and wildlife. The lunch was yummy too! If you're wanting to see crocs - just make sure you go in the right season. We went mid October and only saw a couple.

An interesting ecosystem in itself that developed from an early rice growing farm. A well shaded boat with a knowledgeable guide. For photographers the light is a bit bright and raw for middle of the day cruises so sunset would be more interesting. Fogg dam shown on the full day tour presents the area in greater context of what are massive tropical savannah flood plains. We enjoyed it and are thankful for the tour guide who worked so very hard to please. The lunch was simple yet provided us with the cool salad and cold meats perfect for the climate. We got a very small bus with plastic covered seats. Stuck at the back where drinking water leaked around our feet couldn't put our back at our feet. The rattling of back window made it difficult to hear commentary. As people talking also carried to the back.
The seat was lower than others and couldnt see anything.

A fabulous day trip from Darwin to see and learn about the amazing top end ecosystems, birdlife, and aquatic wildlife and vegetation. Thoroughly informative. Evan was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. Salad box lunch was tasty and filling. Highly recommended!

We loved this cruise! From pick up in Darwin, Evan was the consummate host & guide - informative, humorous & extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the area, history, environment and wildlife. We saw an abundance of wildlife including lots of crocs up close. The lunch packs were substantial and delicious, and overall this tour was probably the highlight of our time in Darwin. Thanks for a great experience, Evan!

Good morning cruise of the wetlands. Got to see all the usual suspects; salties, freshies, ospreys, bee eaters, kingfishers, glossy ibis, pissheads in their tinnies and other feral animals. Informative guide. Worth doing.

If you want a cruise where you see wildlife in their natural environment (as opposed to those akin to a circus act) I thoroughly recommend Wetland Cruises. We went on the Sunset Cruise tonight and it was fantastic. Our guide, Dani, was outstanding. Her knowledge and commentary were first class and made for an enjoyable and informative cruise. Thanks Dani for a great cruise. Greg, Helen & Rhonda.

Great day out from Darwin to visit Fogg Dam and Corroboree Billabong. Picked up from our city hotel at a reasonable 9am and dropped off at 5pm. Our guide, Evan, was extremely knowledgeable about birds and wildlife and we enjoyed a leisurely day which included a freshly made lunch with cold meats and salad while on the Billabong cruise. Evan was able to point out freshwater crocodiles and the tiniest of birds that we wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for his pinpoint accuracy! The water lilies were still in flower and we were able to get up close and personal. I would highly recommend this tour as an option to everyone visiting Darwin and especially those who are on limited time and don't want an extra long day visiting Kakadu.
Thankyou for a wonderful day!?
