Buley Rockhole reviews
64Nice place for a dip in the hot summer days. Usually crowded so come early in the morning for nice scenic shots. 30min-1 hr after sunrise is the best timing as the sun ray hits the waters.
An amazing place to visit. Australia has the best places to visit and all naturally occurring
I always go here it's the closest and the best spot, nowdays I do try and pick non tourist times as this spot gets very full.
What a magnificent place to have a dip and relax. You can choose from more that 14 pools with pristine water. All the pathways are very well maintained and at the end you will see Florence falls.
Not really a rock hole but more a river cascading down a river. Good for sitting, but not for swimming.
Really nice swimming hole which families can go to easily. It is a very short walk from the car park and the flowing water is really clean and fresh.
Family friendly rockpool. Some parts are shallow though younger kids still need to be accompanied because the water flow is quite strong. There are changing room, toilet and area for washing near the parking area.
This is an oasis! It's great at the moment because the water is really flowing. Just be extra careful the force of the water doesn't wash you down the rocks.
On a hot day, the water is so refreshing and it's a safe place to swim from those big, biting lizards.the day we went was also fairly quiet with only a handful of cars in the carpark. A perfect afternoon!
Just be respectful of the place. There's a reason there's a rule that asks for no glass, it's not your back yard pool. It can be dangerous with the water gushing so fast due to the recent rains and mixing alcohol.
An absolutely unbelievable experience where you could spend the whole day with the right company! May even be lucky enough to encounter native reptiles wanting to sunbake!
More shallow rock holes good for younger children with a small deeper rock pool at the bottom. Easy access and lots of places to sit in sun and shade. Picnic tables up top.
Stunning place for a swim. Ancient rover bed with natural holes carved into the rock by water for millions of years. Alot of fish. Alot of tourists at peak times. Water was very refreshing. Lots of wildlife to see. Lots of rocks to jump off into deep water. Some pools where more than 3 meters deep.
Magnificent worth the long drive as the other attractions close
By. Florence. Falls wangie falls these are a must see places Tillman falls were just a trickle of water probable wrong time of season
Beautiful scenery. Easy access by walking from the carpark. It was very busy when we attended. Would love to visit again when less people were there. Worth a look and a swim
Amazing place and would definitely go again but unfortunately massively overcrowded when I went.
Beautiful place to enjoy and cool down when you get to Litchfield national park. Really is a must see and do, when in the area.
Lovely spot to cool off and get a waterfall massage. My favourite swimming place in Litchfield National Park.
Easy to get to, good directions and parking plus toilets. The Rock hole is in multiple steps so there is plenty of space for people to spread out. Beautiful.
Great spot for a swim. Lovely place. Be sure to beat the crowds. If the Carpark is full, so are the rock pools.
All i can say loved the area. One and half hours from Darwin in Leichfield national park. Have toilet amenities and car park. Well worth the drive to have a swim. You may also see some native wild life while your there.
