Ayers Rock Resort reviews
67Not enough lifts to 2nd and floors 3rd in the heat there is stairs but of you have a disability there's a problem
Loved this place! The room didn’t have a window which I thought would really bother me but it wasn’t an issue as the decor was modern, super clean and it felt spacious. We spent most of our time exploring the incredible surrounding area so for a place to rest your head, and a great pool, this place is perfect. Expensive yes for what it is but that’s to be expected in Uluru and totally worth it to experience this incredible place. 2 minute walk to the shops as well!
Beautiful place staffed by wonderful people nothing to much trouble excellent rooms and very nice pool great food
Stayed at the Sails in the Desert just lovely & quiet staff all very pleasant & friendly. Hired a car & went to tourist sites sunset & sunrise at ULURA & Kata Tjuta. Get pass at the gate to National park 3day pass $25 per person worth it. Segway Tour was so great enjoyed every bit of it. Tour guide stopping & telling cultural stories along the way a great tour. Get up & go early 5am do a sunrise or a walk then head back by 830am for breakfast as heat starts. Dec
Good signs to get you to the best places for sunrise or sunsets it's very clear. Stay on tracks or roads take water and tick this adventure off your bucket list it's so worth it!
Ayers Rock Resort isn't just one place it's a mini town built for tourism, there is a little of everything here including a caravan park its just a short drive from the airport via shuttle bus there is no public transport of any kind here only the free shuttle bus from and to the airport, you can also catch an AAT Kings bus to Alice for around $180, this resort is just a few kms from Uluru don't forget to bring your fly net.
Disappointed - looking tired and neglected compared to past visits - and the restaurants lack variety for a week long stay
Stayed at Sails in the Desert. Very polite and friendly staff. I would hghly recommend for families.
Very disappointed, prices are overrated. Went to go see the Rock and turned around after finding that it costs $25 each. My wife and I and all the rest of our family will never go back. The buses are everywhere and it's so hard to get into this town. We are very angry with the government the way have turned this beautiful place into a money making theme. I thought Ularu was made by God not people, who on earth would do this.
If you're not staying at Sails in the Desert don't try and visit their bar & restaurant. Despite marketing that states you can visit all the restaurants and facilities in Yalara no matter which accommodation you choose, we were refused an afternoon cocktail at Sails in the Desert despite producing confirmation of our booking reservation at the Voyages campground. <br/>We had no such difficulty at the Pioneer bar & bistro the previous day, perhaps there is a different standard expected at Sails in the Desert.
This place is absolutely wonderful, as are the staff, the many activities and tours you can go on. A big
This really is a special part of not only Australia but the world. The service is outstanding, the rooms immaculate and the bus to get to all parts of the resort is brilliant (runs every 20 mins). Car hire available if required and the tour groups operating out of the resort are simply world class. Eating at the resort is terrific and cater for all tastes and there's also a supermarket and photo development shop as well.
If your thinking of visiting Uluru and Kata Tjuta (the Olga's) then very highly recommended. A+
Stayed at Emu Walk, the entire site is run by Accor hotels and NOT the Aboriginal people who originally owned the land. Do the right thing Accor!
Had a great holiday and learnt alot about the history.etc went camel riding at sun rise, saw the field of lights so much to do
The staff are very helpful but so busy. They don't answer their phones. We were told to book via email. Very frustrating. We do a lot of travelling and disappointed with this place. Bathrooms & laundries are dirty. 3 out of 8 washing machines in the main laundry are out of order. A bit overpriced for the lack of cleanliness and service.
The town is near but it is run down, there are mice running around in the rooms and everything is very expensive. Not the quality for the price point.
Overflow very noisy because of massive plant equipment. Otherwise a busy great caravan park, Great with late checkout needed, and were very understanding. If not in overflow, I am sure the park would have been awesome, and more stars.
Bit dusty, but what isnt out here! Easy to deal with, be sure to prebook as it's very busy, all in all good experience
Very well laid out. Clean facilities. Pleasant staff. Prices for everything are what you would expect given the remoteness and tourist popularity. Disappointed that it's necessary to try and improve on nature with the light show.
Lovely resort.
Consider where this place is located. Have a think about that it's located smack bang in the middle of a dessert in Australia. To have a place this nice arise here, it really is something. Obviously not like 5 star resorts located near beaches.but this is in the middle of the dessert. Amazing.
Breakfast here was great. Very nice staff. Eggs and omelettes made in front of you.
Great place!
가격에 비해 조금 실망할수도 있어요 물가가 많이 비싸기 때문에!
날씨를 확인해야 함. 은하수를 볼수있지만 비오고 흐린날들 겹치면 망.
리조트는 거의 모노폴리라능.
What a view but still very expensive rooms and living cost is pretty high there.
Very hot but I loved it for staying a few days as a summer lover. Check the weather before you book if you dont wanna be disappointed with. Rainy and stormy weather will be not good for your mental health if you are look foward to seeing milkyway there.
:) hahaha
