Ayers Rock Resort reviews
67Nice, both the pool and the service. A great grill for frying yourself. Live music. Generally, great atmosphere and fun.
Event was cancelled after there was a half an hour rain at midday. We went to the location of event and there was no flooding.
It felt like the employees are waiting for such events to justify why they couldn’t work.
Moreover, you need to know that events will be also cancelled if the outside temperature is 36+ degrees Celsius.
In summer it is quite probable, thus I would not recommend going there.
Visiting mount Uluru is though an unique experience that I would recommend everybody.
This place is one of the greatest places in the world, Uluru, the Crystal palace. All the immigrant staff at this place lift it up, if it was just left to the Aussies to run it would be an awfully penal experience.
We stayed at the Emu Walk Apartments & worked our way through the resort. Loved our stay, easy to navigate & the organisation was fantastic.
Excellent accommodation with staff always willing to assist. Various establishments with great choices all in one location, thoroughly recommend.
Cannot fault the staff or the organization of the place but looking very tired and dated. Desert gardens reminded us of a uni campus and not in a good way- defiantly not what you might expect from quite expensive accommodation. We had to change rooms as our original was positioned right next to two service areas so plenty of noise from the cleaning staff, and the balcony furniture was broken and tatty.
Would have been nice to have used the pool, but it was? What is with all these hotels get some solar heating for goodness sake you are a winter resort. Didn’t see anyone use the pool
We have international visitors come here needs a lot of tlc it’s a tad embarrassing. Also have to mention the shocking amount of rubbish that is left by the aboriginal residents that is left everyday on the green by the village it’s quite confronting.
Booked the campground and light show with them. We had unfortunate circumstances with all the rain closing roads in the outback and we could not get there for our booking. $800 wasted as they gave us a credit to use within 8 months which is useless as we can’t get anytime to to use it. A refund would’ve been appreciated but it’s not there policy. Lesson learned don’t book anything with this company
Fantastic place to stay when visiting Uluṟu. Well appointed rooms and great service. Accessibility for people with mobility issues could be better however.
Hi I just want to give a five star services review for Ravinna Ponnudurai and Megan who assist me on the accommodation reservation for my holiday. They both very passion and assist me professionally. Thank you so much.
We stayed at the Lost Camel and generally the place is nice. Room was nice and clean. Cleaning should pay more attention to clean the toilet but overall a good experience. The place is very close to the town square which was nice.
The resort offer some free experiences which are all very nice and recommend everyone to dedicate a day to do it. Didgeridoo experience, bush yarns, garden guided tour and native food experience were all very nice and highly recommend to do them before visiting the outside of the resort.
We stayed at Emu Walk two bedroom Apartments. General it was okay. Few house keeping rules need attention definitely:
1) Bathroom needs proper cleaning especially the toilet bowl.
2) Air Conditioning needs immediate servicing or replacement as it seems to be stuck on a mono setting.
3). Rodents (tiny mice) sharing our room space too. Didn’t appreciate that of course.
4) Appreciate if drinking water fountains were installed at regular intervals within the resort complex.
5). Lengthy wait for check-ins at the reception.
6). Lack of road side assistance near by. The closest is 500klms away.
7). Being so remote & with 5,000 visitors daily during peak season from all walks of life we seriously feel there isn’t a proper base hospital.
I would like to see more locally born Indigenous employees at this Resort! I don't appreciate non Australian born foreigners employed as tour guides, who read from brochures, and can barely speak English, or are fron the USA.
4 star? More like 2 at best. The grout in the showers all mouldy (keep on top of the cleaning & this wouldn’t happen), the toilet bowl had shlt stains the only water we could use was the tap in the bathroom, like what? Just milk, coffee & tea plus only had 1 towel for a double room? It was dirty & smelt musty.
6 Monate im vorraus gebuchte Sunsetour wurde 2 Monate vorab und ohne Mitteilung gecancelt. Bei Anreise wurde man alternativlos stehen gelassen
After numerous phone calls and emails, I'm still waiting for a refund for a tour that they cancelled and agreed to refund. The only listed contacts are for their booking centre who just tell you it's with finance and that there is nothing they can do, you must just wait until they feel like making the payment one day.possibly.
My partner and a co worker stayed for work out in uluru today this morning at 3am they had checked out my partner had forgot his play station in the room he stayed in didnt realise until it was too late because he had no reception on his phone he couldn't call until he got back into alice springs, when he reached out to the hotel they stayed in he was told there was no play station in the room and there is already new people in the room which I find very strange since check in is usually not till 2 pm it's very disappointing so we are now waiting on a call back to see if they can allocate the playstation which shouldn't be hard to find since it's white and we have also told them to check up with the hotel house keepers
The resort has a good layout with a shopping center which includes a grocery store. We stocked up on water and snacks as well as bought some hats. We stayed at Sails in the Desert and enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the dinner buffet. I was very glad that they brought ice to the room with no charge. Room service does come with an $8 trip fee, but if you didn't get snacks at the grocery store then it's wonderful to have the option in the middle of the night.
Loved the service staff, they are all from Fiji.
Beautiful place
Great community
An amazing place for our 1st week of our honeymoon Loads of history here just waiting for you to discover. Go on as many tours as you can fit in, that way appreciation sets in. Once I actually heard lots of stories I connected on a deep level. So much appreciation now. Thanking you?
Two nights in the caravan park with motor home, booked out so stayed in overflow section. No complaints from us, but camped away from the generator. Resort is a little town in the middle of no where with everything including a supermarket.
