37Lovely food and ambience, staff were brilliant amd accommodating, so good we are going back for lunch tomorrow
Went here for lunch and had the best chicken burger ever. Quality ingredients and very tasty. It came with cheese and smoky bacon. I requested to have it with no sauce or salad (as I’m a purist) When it arrived at first, the kitchen had not granted my request, but just as I was about to complain, the waitress had realised the mistake, came back to the table, profusely apologised, and had a replacement burger ready within a few minutes. It was delicious. There is a lovely outdoor dining area in the garden surrounded by greenery, with a great atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.
The food was fantastic and the service was second to none, was nice to speak to one of the owners and hear about the Island
Professional venue and meal. Perfectly cooked to request. Simple variety but very well done.
No burgers and nuggets here, it's quality.
I had a lovely lunch of sirloin steak with Baileys creme brûlée with a nice wine. They were really tasty and a great sized lunch meal. I suggest you book as it is quite popular
Excellent meals at very reasonable prices.
Service was fast and friendly in a comfortable, homely setting amongst the gardens.
Best food on Norfolk Island. In fact best meal I have hadanywhere for ages. Ambience, service, food, value all superb. Unfortunately going home tomorrow oterwise I'd be back. Do not miss this amazing restaurant.
The meals at Hilli were divine. So good that we are coming back tomorrow night to try more of the menu. Hillies is the best restaurant on Norfolk by miles.
Dinner here was our best meal we had on the island. Friendly staff and a nice ambience.
Also went back for a Devonshire tea in the garden.
Most enjoyable meal and services. Need to try out for yourselves. The starter goat cheese souffle, the fillet mignon and finished the meal with creme brulee. What a fantastic night. Great services.
The food was very tasty. Service was friendly. Price was reasonable. Atmosphere was perfect for the island.
This was the best meal we had on the island. Very happy.
Our meal was superb! All 3 courses were delicious! Tyson was so much fun. Thoroughly recommend booking for a fantastic meal!
Fantastic lunch menu. Four of us shared 4 meals and all were delicious, especially the chicken salad. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Great setting and well worth a long lunch.
After visiting Cyclorama on Norfolk Island, we decided to have lunch at Hilli Restaurant & Cafe. The meals were enormous (we could easily have shared one meal between the two of us) and they were excellent. On top of that, we received a 10% discount by showing our Cyclorama tickets and could use the same tickets for discounts any time we visited Hilli while we were on the island. They were busy the day we visited, but service was still as good and as fast as one would expect at any restaurant. We will certainly visit again next time we go to Norfolk Island which we intend doing.
We had a lovely lunch here. The meals were delicious and a good size. The atmosphere was lovely, looking out over the gardens
I took my wife there for her birthday.
I have eaten in restaurants all over the world from Brunei all over Europe to the Yukatan.
This place is up there with the best of them

My favourite restaurant on Norfolk Island, located in some very nice gardens just off the main road. The restaurant is in a old converted house sharing a space with a small art gallery/shop. It has a very comfortable feel with both inside and outside seating, nice to enjoy the garden and fresh air.
Everyone working there is friendly, and the service was great. I enjoyed both a lunch and dinner as there are different menu's trying several of the local dishes. The Seafood crepe included the local fish, the Souffle from local Goat Cheese and the highlight a local Beef Filet. Whilst the deserts weren't specifically locally aimed, the lemont tart and sticky date pudding, both were also excellent.
Absolutely stunning food, with bubbly and attentive service to match. The decor and atmosphere had an inviting and homely warmth.
This place is excellent. Great setting with nice outdoor seating and lovely service. Both the owner and Joyce (?) went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Lovely dishes and big portions. Went twice during our stay on the island.
