45 Brand new gym, great facilities, brand spanking new equipment, just didnt cater to my training needs.
As its a franchise different pricing.
I have fitness passport thru work which they accept but 65 fee one off for key fob admin/setup whatever you call it. Thy dont offer a free trial so ended up having to pay 20 casual fee which defeats me paying fitness passport.
CONS:
*Doesnt really cater to my oly lifting, no 15kg barbells and platform is more a deadlift platform and its also uneven not flat. I did some deadlifts and during my setup barbell it rolled towards the wall.
*one off fee or casual fee depending which option you choose
PROS:
*great space, all new equipment
*well spaced
* great for powerlifters and other gym goers
* didnt suit my training needs of oly lifting
Thats all i got to say, i really liked it and wish it had what i needed.
Not sure if this gym wants to survive. They obviously have enough money to survive without any members. Apparently you need to come in for a meeting to get a price for a gym membership. So I have to leave work to come in and listen to some random sales person tell me how good a gym is even if I am sold on the gym and ready to purchase a membership. What a joke. I think I will stick with the other two large chains. AF gave me a price over the phone, not pushy and very friendly.
This gym has everything you could ask for and caters to people of all fitness levels and training types. Huge free weights and functional training area, loads of cardio, heaps of exciting group fitness classes plus the comfort zone which offers a bit of everything in a more chilled environment. Ohhh there is also a huge creche with heaps for the kids to do. OMG did I mention the bathrooms with hair dryers, straighteners and a sauna. Highly recommend this gym, great value and super friendly staff.
Large gym with all the equipment you need. I wouldn't mind more dip bars and a t-bar row hinge, but they are new and still unpacking a few bits of equipment.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
