I signed up to world gym Maitland before it opened and have never once regretted my decision. I started here pregnant with my second baby and have since had my 3rd and utilised the crèche ever since. I love the staff and the service they provide which allows me to train without a worry knowing my babes are in safe hands. The staff have become friends and my girls love attending the crèche just as much as I do the gym. 10/10 from our family.

I was informed that cancellation can be made within the year you've been with them, I moved to a different location could no longer be with them anymore, so I play it out with hitting the due month being a year with them ready to cancel, informing what's happening instead I'm told I have to cancel mid year not the month I signed up them.

I feel gutted, been on the phone, emailed dozens of times.

Never signing a contacts with gyms, ever again. Truly the worst experience with cancellation.

Cold- called me, didn't take no for an answer and put me on an SMS mailing list. I don't even live nearby. There are 5 gyms within a 10 minute walk of my home, why would I drive an hour to Maitland to go to a place that doesn't understand "not interested"?

Only first visit but felt very comfortable was busy but still heaps of room. Having the lose weight section separate from the cardio machines was really good. Also with working late the facility to grab a take home prepared meal was awesome

So annoying all these gyms, you can't get a straight answer out of them for membership prices over the phone.
For new people to the area who frequent gyms and know what they want and just want to know a price to compare don't want to make a personal connection with every gym just to get a quote. Try expanding your marketing to cater to more demographics. Some people just want to plug into their headphones and workout.
Call snap gym instead friendly, helpful and direct

A great gym! There's a machine to exercise almost every muscle. It's a friendly place, you will feel "at home" and motivated there.

I took a tour and looked around. I don't like 'in your face marketing' and pushy sales tactics. Especially with all those supplements as you walk in. Plus the guy showing me around told me judo is better than bjj. That hit my heart strings.

I've just noticed the advertising they have on roadside signs around Maitland that says "join now and pay $0 until the new decade. " Now, given that decades work the same way as counting to ten, (you start at one), that means if you join now, you get 13 months of free membership. Were I a gym-oriented person, I'd be thinking that is a serious deal.

Went in Saturday morning the girls had me signed up and in my new home in 5 mins, this gym is honestly insane, the moment i stepped in i was amazed 10/10 so happy to call this gym my new home

After being at Anytime for 3+ years i went to train to only find out membership was cancelled when questioned only got "oh that's weird" as a response, its been a blessing in disguise

I drive nearly 3 hours each way, at least twice a week just to train here. Great club, great atmosphere, and friendly staff!

Very helpful staffer on Reception, they let my guest sit in the cafe and made her feel at home while I worked out. As a visitor from interstate I was made to feel comfortable, welcome and familiar with the facility!
