Ryan from Westside Strata has been our strata manager for about a year. I am the chair of the strata committee. Ryan acts decisively and in a timely manner. He is always prudent and has good judgement when tackling difficult issues. He is personable and deals fairly with all. He works hard. We are lucky to have him

I have been a longtime customer of Westside and I think I should have put this out there sooner but my experience with them has only been the best. In my dealings with Rebekah, Frank and Petra has been absolutely fantastic. They are extremely supportive and knowledgeable. I have received incredible support from them even though it is not an easy job to deal with people but they are so patient and I will never forget their after hours support. I will always recommend them to anyone as strata managers *****

My experience with Westside has been quite horrible to be frank. We started with a decent strata manager, Wiki, but he left suddenly for some reason. He left us in an undesirable financial position and we were required to hold an EGM where they charged us $220. So they made a mess and charged us to clean it up. Unfortunately for our next manager Andy, we started off on a precarious path, but he was extremely hard working and actually wanted to provide a good service. He helped us fix our financial situation, and things were good until he abruptly resigned. Then our third strata (within 6 months) manager Kaylene, had a totally absent approach. No introduction, she just popped up in an email one day, and was fairly dismissive to the committee. Her idea for an AGM was to do it by paper, under the guise of covid, however, I asked for her to come out and see the building and see the maintenance issues needed. At this point everyone was fully vaccinated and we conduct meetings outside, so honestly, there was no valid reason to do a meeting by paper. Kaylene still refused to come out and offered a zoom instead, which was hardly satisfying, but whatever, knowing westside we'd have another manager in a few months time. Well it was very quiet for a few months, and then maintenance issues started to arise due to the bad weather. The strata committee wasn't involved in anything, and Kaylene was running the show like a real estate rental. She did not ask for approval for anything and started spending substantial amounts of money on overpriced contractors. We were even charged for quotations, which still astonishes me. Normal practice prior to Kaylene was that we obtained three (free) quotes and the committee approved. Kaylene seemed to do whatever she felt like and it became a hot mess. I started going through all the invoices and found very unusual things, like being charged monthly for fire inspections which didn't occur, and were drastically more expensive (50%) than the single inspection fire inspection required each year. This had not been approved by the committee. My pestering and questioning to find out what else westside had wasted our money on led to an abrupt resignation. I have never heard of a strata agency resigning from a building. They decided this without the agreement of the owners corporation, and we voted at an EGM to accept this with the condition that they did not charge us for a handover fee. They refused this and stole our money. I could not in good faith recommend this agency to anyone. I expressed my concerns with the head of HR Peta, and her response, was that they can't do anything for us. Crazy company that doesn't value customers. I do think they used to be good, but they've really lost it now.

As a lot owner I have been dealing with Erica Maran @Westside Strata Management. Erica has what it constitutes to be an experienced, effective, approachable and transparent strata manager. Erica demonstrates utmost professionalism and is very responsive to emails. Erica communicates clearly and effectively and matters raised are dealt with promptly. I wish Erica all the best in her future endeavors.

We've had a pleasant experience dealing with Westside Strata. Rebekah has been a lovely strata manager to deal with. She is always helpful, polite and follows up on things when required.

Absolutely terrible service, frequent delays, large windows of time with no responses. Unprofessional service, simply in it for the money.
I'm going to be telling anybody I can to avoid these people in the future, its not worth the money.

Our strata manager, Mariah Apiata provides fantastic service. She has been an absolute pleasure to deal with, ease of communication, prompt responses, great facilitation and obvious effort to get things rolling.

She is very reliable and always prompt at returning emails/phone calls even after working hours. Mariah is very professional, responsive and diligent in her dealings. She responds promptly to queries and provide a resolution in a very capable and timely manner. Mariah is also very knowledgeable on strata issues and provides solid advice which gives us confidence in dealing with complex matters. She is always willing to assist in every way possible. She offer proactive advice and a clear plan of action to get the best outcome. She goes an extra mile to meet the needs of the residents living in our complex. Since day one Mariah has provided me at all times the best advice and guidance. Mariah’s efficiency, professionalism and due diligence is exemplary on all strata related matters. She is an asset to the company. A true legend.

Both Kellie Nagle and Lucy Macbryde have looked after our unit complex for well over 10 years both ladies have always been responsive, professional and willing to attend to any issues or concerns we raised. Their professional manner always made things move quickly and resulted in issues being resolved quickly. Thank you for the great service Kellie, Lucy and Westside.

I would recommend their service to other strata complex.

Westside strata management is Sydney No1 disgusting and horrible, illegal, hopeless and very bad strata, they useless only care the money $$$$, the owners should never and ever choose this strata! Is Zero 0 0 0 star! Petra walker and Nadine Vigouroux should stay in the jail, those are defrauders, scammers and a bunch of scams.
Why this company not close, are the ATO blind?

Since Ryan has been in charge of our complex block, he has been nothing but on point. He is professional, and always communicates with us straight away, if anything needs answering. His passion for his work is evident, by the way he cares for the owners needs. Keep up the good work Ryan

I am the owner of an apartment in a complex Westside manages. I found Westside very professional and displayed great care in managing an ongoing investigation and repair that was caused by deficiency in the original building construction. Westside really look after owners interests by seeking multiple professional engineers' advice for the most suitable rectification method, as well as sourcing the most cost effective quotation for the works. The communication from Westside has been very transparent, clear and professional. Highly recommend.

10-14 John Street Mascot, I see that you guys do not value honesty and safety. Good Maintenance here even the fire department that have to come every 2 months are in shock each time.

Absolutely disgraceful. At the time of appointment they seemed like a good idea - professional, good value. But after a couple of months we realised that they were a huge mistake.

Given the building wasn't financial (which we soon resolved by raising extra on top of strata fees) these people were a complete waste of money, resource and time.

One example is that our pump room was malfunctioning to the point where the fire brigade had to turn it off. At this point we found out that the required monthly checks were not done.

We have since switched to a different strata and instantly feeling the quality of workmanship and responsibility.

Highly recommend NOT to go with Westside Strata. 0 stars.

I have had dealings with Westside Strata (Kelli Nagle) for the past 8 years or and during this period I have found Kelli and the team to be excellent at managing our strata plan. The Westside Team are always attentive and very experienced in dealing with strata issues no matter how complex they may be. Westside Strata have the problem solver mindset and always come back with a suite of options for the executive committee to choose from. Working with Kelli and Westside has been a very positive experience and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for an exceptionally professional Strata Management Team.

I have owned multiple strata properties for around fifteen years. From both an owner and a committee member’s perspective, Westside are efficient and reliable.
In particular, I have found Petra Walker to be thorough, diligent, personable, and courteous. She is professional and takes tactful control of meetings. Petra is very knowledgeable in strata legislation and compliance issues, follows through on getting matters resolved and works towards cost effective outcomes.
