The Tea Cosy reviews
65Scones served with fresh cream and house-made jams were very nice. Also enjoyed their cute set-up where you can actually do some knittings.
We absolutely loved the tea cozy. It has a ton of character and great staff to go along with it. We ate inside in a room that was all to ourselves. It was winter time so it was nice to eat inside as it was a little chilly outside. We ordered a tower of different scones sandwiches and jams. So we got to taste a little bit of everything and it was all delicious. We also ordered some iced tea as well as some hot tea and they have some great options available. I do think the prices are a little high but it was worth it for the ambiance and food.
Always lovely tea and scones, with a wide variety of jams. Great location right in the middle of The Rocks to have a high tea and people watch.
The scones taste great with the orange curd and rhubarb, raspberry and vanilla. We had ice tea which was good.
The salmon set is always good, scones with fig jam is also recommended, tea is okay nothing amazing, the downsides are the cleanliness of the place and the service, cups are not properly cleaned, the waitress spilled my tea but didn’t clean it, one star less for these, otherwise it’s my favorite afternoon tea place.
It would have been 5 stars if the tea was included in the grandstand like it used to be pre-covid. It’s a bit overpriced for what you get (drinks not included).
Loved this place before they moved and love it even more now. Such a cosy atmosphere and the scones are lovely but the jams just make it all the more amazing.
Enjoyed a lovely sunny day in the outside area here. Ordered some extra types of jam (available seasonally- you can find the via the QR code on their menu)!
But the original scone and the fig jam will continue to my all time favourite. The staff were so polite too, great day
I've visited here twice for their scones and jams and teas. I will always come back as it's just that worth it!
Such a lovely spot, delicious sandwiches and scones, great selection of teas and the iced tea was sooo good! Highly recommend, reasonable pricing too!
Such a cute place! Tasty scones with gorgeous decor. Staff super friendly. Would 100% recommend.
10/10 would tea again. Great food and amazing service. They have interesting drinks and really great food. The people are accommodating and really lovely, and it's such a cute setting.
Absolute gem of a place. The decor is amazing. We sat outside and watched the sights while enjoying perfect pots of tea, sandwiches and scones. No table service but everything was fresh and delish. Loved the wool on the tables, next time I'm bringing a crochet hook! We had a group with ages from teens to (much) older and everyone loved it. The lemon curd was the most popular followed by the (caramel?) Rooibos. Can't wait to visit again.
Such a cosy tea spot! Love there scones and egg sandwiches. Very delicious and located in the best place in the world The Rocks Sydney
We stumbled upon this nice little tea place and opted for the grand stand. Such a good price for the amount of food that we got. Delicious scones. Mixed berries iced tea was full of fresh berries which I loves. Outside space beautiful. Nothing to fault really!
Literally my favorite high tea spot! Amazing outdoor settings that’s very photogenic. They made the scones and jams so prefect! Definitely the best scone in town
Love going here in person and their awesome lockdown delivery service lets me enjoy it at home. Great quality and delicious!
It was a very nice experience, the food was light and nice. The tea is amazing. The staff are lovely.
Will definitely visit again
I love the scones and fruit Danish The tea was amazing too. Just like the name says, it's a very cosy place decorated with vintage items. Thank you guys for your amazing hospitality!
This was the worst experience.
My partner and I both ordered the grand stand which is 30 dollars. We only got 4 scones, a pot of tea that was not even loose leaf (the water was warm) and 4 small sandwich’s. It is very misleading the price. Everything is misleading, the way that the word things that’s how they catch you.
You have to pay 60 dollars and you get nothing back.
The owner was so rude when we tried to understand where the extra 30 dollars come from? The owner said: “I don’t have time to dissect the menu for you”.
They made us pay at the beginning when we didn’t experience being at the tea cosy yet which is strange. It’s like they knew that people complained.
If you want to have the worst experience, come here.
Very disappointing.
