Visited on Saturday at lunch time. Amazing place and vibes. Tasty sandwich and scones. Quite a busy place so be ready to wait for a reasonable amount of time to get a place. Beat part is you get a knitting kit but disappointment for me is that i don’t know knitting. They also have a shawl on each seat in case if it’s very cold as all the sitting area is outside.

One of my favorite high tea places in Sydney. Affordable delicious food (scones and jam are to die for), amazing ambiance, and they now sell crocheted flowers!

My husband and I really enjoyed our tea and our tower of treats! Everything was delicious and the staff were so kind. It’s a super cute spot that we would highly recommend checking out.

What can I say, I've lost count of my visits and the amount of people, I've either taken or recommended to go. Took my husband for the first time and he loved it. Can't be beaten for price and quality.

Love the place. Came here on a Sunday morning after a walk over the harbour bridge. This is a very popular Devonshire tea place. Most decorations are made with wool. You can relax here with tea and knit while you enjoy watching passers by strolling along the weekend market at the Rocks. Highly recommend.

Due to staff shortages, it was bookings only (today?). However it didn't say this anywhere on the website so there was no way to know in advance.
I lined up where the people in front of me were lined up, after they were seated one of the staff placed a chair directly in front of me blocking my entry, and said that the entrance was a spot 60cm to my left, which was also blocked off, and proceeded to walk away again as I tried to ask a question.
When she came back (and ignored me and others lined up in the correct spot), I walked over and asked if it was possible to get a table for one, she asked if I'd read the sign that says bookings only.
"Yes, I have, but I'm only one person and I've just watched you seat other groups without a booking".
"They waited half an hour so we let them have a seat".
I thought it was quite rude.

I have absolutely no complaints with this cafe. The location is amazing and there is both indoor and outdoor seating you can choose from. We sat inside by a window where you have a stunning view of the rocks and the inside is so homely and inviting. When ordering scones, there is a wide range of delicious jams to choose from. They also had a lemon drizzle scone as a special and both are very tasty. The tea is of high quality and the dishes are beautiful too. Have been to tea cosy many times and the staff are always attentive and lovely.

I visited it in a heavily rainy day. The seat indoor is fully occupied. I had to sit outside. Evan so the scones with cream and jams are what I’ve missed sooo much.

I can finally say that I’ve ticked off having high tea here off my bucket list. The grand stand is priced at $56 for 2 people, and for less than $30pp for high tea we were absolutely stuffed by the end of it. The set includes scones, jam and sandwiches but no drinks so we ordered a chai and an iced tea which were MASSIVE like I was so pleasantly surprised at the portion sizes for everything. The chai was only $4.50 and it was the size of my face! We tried the pear and strawberry rose jam, both were delicious but the former was so good. Scones were perfect, the egg chive sandwich was the best. Service was a bit slow though.

What can you say more about this little Tea Cosy! It used to be tucked away behind the Irish design shop but now moved to opposite the Anzac statue with more open space. We love it just the same 12 years ago and now. The quality never changed, fresh scones, yummy jam and PROPER cream! And they have added more choices to their tea selection which is lovely. It is always a treat for us to come here enjoying a day out at the Rocks and feel blessed to be in Sydney!

I loved the currant cake and one of the summer teas.
I did take out, and service, while slower than say Starbucks, was quite prompt (the tea is, of course, fresh so it takes time to steep). The tea cake was very slightly stale but extremely tasty.
They sell crocheted tea cozys (hence the name of the store) which would be an artsie gift or souvenir.
Fun little tea shop and a recommended thing to do if you're in the area.

A little expensive - but if you’re willing to pay, this place is absolutely wonderful. Their scones are fantastic and their teas are also quite nice! Sweet atmosphere and even sweeter lemon curd! I bought a jar of it to use at home, that’s how good it is.

The staff were not very friendly, there was a Asian girl never smiled. The tea pot was dirty. During meal time, the staff came a few times, never asked if we needed anything, just checking if we finished. Feel like they wanted you hurry to finish and go. The food is just OK for the price. In general, not cosy, not impressed.

Best place for traditional scones. Love the different flavours (butterscotch is always the favourite). The grandstand is great also.

One of my favourite places in Sydney. Love the Devonshire tea with the many jams they have to offer. They have plenty of tea options too.

This business relocated a couple of years back but the new location still has the charm of the old, plus a great shaded outdoor area.

Not sure why the rating is so high. Maximum outsourcing of work to the customer, incl.ordering online. Food came long after hot chocolate was cold and consumed. Service staff moving high speed, hectic-atmosphere. The marked view was interesting.

Must try their scones and jam! Only thing I don't like is that they're always crowded and it's hard to get a place.

If you're looking for a casual high tea experience this place is perfect. Delicious scones, yummy selection of homemade jams (we had both lemon curd and the strawberry) and nice quality cream. Friendly staff. Lovely location.

This place is so warm and cozy including the amazing staff! Had lunch here with my sisters and a nice lady told us we can go to the private room as there were construction noise outside. The room was so cozy as the name implies and the scones were the best scones I’ve ever had in my life. The jams are superb as well.
