The Manse Clinic

Not recommended. Expect to be exorbitantly overcharged for little to no result and a sub-par service.

I booked into the manse to have filler to address some asymmetry in my face and give an over all lift.

I was talked out of it and convinced to get a threadlift (which was almost double the price). I was told they last 2 years and would address the asymmetry, lift my face and significantly improve my skin quality at the same time.

The treatment was excruciatingly painful and the recovery was horrible. To top it all off, I couldn’t see any improvement to my face, or any lift whatsoever.

Once everything settled I went back to see before and afters there was genuinely zero difference. I was told to wait.

I went back a further time a few months after to compare photos again, and there was still zero change.

They of course didn’t offer me anything to help fix it. I was just told to keep waiting and that results could take longer to show.

It’s been a year and there were no “results, ” at any point.

I’ve been shamefully talked into throwing $5000 into the wind and go through that excruciating pain to end up right were I started.

The nurse I saw was lovely and we got along well, but at the end of the day I was there to achieve a result. Not only was the result not achieved, but I was talked into spending double the money than I otherwise would have and lied to about what it would realistically achieve.

I wouldn’t recommend the manse to anyone. A flashy cash grab that doesn’t really care about helping its clients.

I have been to this clinic several times for various treatments, I have full confidence in the clinic staff. They are open on Saturdays so for people who don't live in Sydney it is super convenient. In love with The Manse Clinic!

Recent my came with my sister. She was so nervous. Dr Koonal Prasad was amazing. A sheer professional, amazing knowledge and skills for a young Doctor. Treated us with respect, dignity and utmost expert care. His treatment advice was perfect. Definitely a gorgeous face to uphold the Manse value for a long time to come. Always a lovely experience visiting The Manse Clinic! I have been a regular patient for 3 years and I have always felt so happy with my results after each procedure.

I recently tried Dr Naomi’s skincare range, here’s what I found after a few weeks of use:

Walk of Shine: Brightens and leaves skin squeaky-clean without making it feel stripped.
Let it B: Hydrates and smooths. Feels really lovely on, skin slurps it right up.
Over Achiever: First time I’ve used a moisturiser that actually mattifies the skin while deeply moisturising & soothing. Smells great too.
Swipe Bright: My favourite. Feels super nourishing on the skin and leaves a non-oily, dewy glow.

I came to The Manse because Dr Ryan uses ultrasound imaging before dermal filler injections. The perfect experience. Comfort and excellent results. Usually I am the Cosmetic Physician. Today I was the patient. I highly recommend The Manse.

I want to place this review to make others aware to not waste time and money.
Firstly you have to pay $350 before you can even talk to someone about treatments. Once I got there (after paying the money) I had a 5 minute chat and was recommended 2 treatments. I was told that both need to be done a couple of times over the next few months and then twice a year. (1 cost $750 and the other was $450). Obviously I had to now choose one or I would lose the $350 I had already paid. I chose the cheaper option and then had to sign a waiver, stating that they are not responsible for what happens to my skin and that even AFTER all these repeat treatments results arent guaranteed.
20 minutes after my appointment treatment was complete and there has been no difference to my skin since.
Total waste of money

Kodi is extremely professional and knowledgeable about all things skin related! Very refreshing to be working with someone who is genuinely interested in great skin!

I have been having Q Switch treatments with Kodi. He is extremely informative and really cares about his patients and treatments. I still need to more treatments to see the full effect but I would highly Recommend booking in with Kodi.

I just called them about fungal acne but they need to see my skin 1st. But they told me they will charge 350aud and i ask what if you can’t do it will i get back full refund? They told me no. Just wow just for nd appoitment not even doing any treatment at all. Unbeliveable

Hi I visited the manse clinic and had Cody treat my skin his knowledge and professionalism was next level and my skin is absolutely glowing! Highly recommend the manse.

I have always had a pleasant experience at the manse, extremely professional and knowledgeable, the staff are so pleasant, friendly and accommodating. This team know their stuff and I always feel like I’m in safe hands. Nothing will be overdone or rushed, a very customised approach is taken which I greatly value. Highly recommend!

If I could give no starts to this place I would.
The level of professionalism and lack of respect they've showed when I had to collect my medical history with them for a court case somewhere else was disgusting. First of all, in the 2 years I was going in there I may have spent quite a big amount of money in different treatments and products. The comments they've written about me in the consultations with some of the doctors were absolutely revolting. It sounded like they were teaming up with an outsider doctor well known in the area in order to help this doctor to not be sued. They had made comments about me and this specific area of my face but guess what? They did not have the photos they've taken from me before/ after to be compared and examined by professionals so I wasn't able to provide photos to my lawyer and it affected my case dramatically.
The receptionists are apathics and unhelpful. It's a very unpleasant environment I've found in many occasions I've been there.
Please guys, make sure time to time you ask for your medical history so you know what doctors write about you. It was absolution shocking to read the lies they can write about you and the sad thing is that you don't have a change against them because its your word against them.
The more disturbing part is to know that I was the one who paid them not the doctor who they were helping to get out of the hook.
In regards their services? I had to complaint to the owner the so much filler this doctor put on me and how careless she was leaving me behind bleeding all over my short because she had another patient waiting and of course, time is money and she had to hush hush. No and no for these place. I wonder why a lot of doctors have joined All Saints in Double Bay. Disgraceful experience. I would not trust this place. Please don't forget to ask for your medical history time to time and I mean it. I still recovering for the massive stress and frustration I had to through in the last 8 months of my life.
Oh! Last thing! They also made fun of my english! They wrote they couldn't understand anything I was saying! It was horrifying to read it! I had to read many times to believe in it. I will never forget how bad they made me feel about myself.
I rather write positive reviews about positive experiences but I had to alert people about this place. You can be next.

Absolutely loved my experience at The Manse. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Nurse Patricia spent 45 minutes in total and was very thorough with explaining everything. She made me feel comfortable and I’m thrilled with the results. I look forward to returning.

I got Botox jaw slimming done a few weeks ago by Dr Ryan.
I suffered far too long with headaches and my teeth were always aching from constant clenched jaw. After seeing Dr Ryan my jaw no longer hurts and I appear slimmer in the face. 5 out of 5 for the Manse and Dr Ryan.

UPDATE June 2022:
My post inflammatory hyperpigmentation has reduced significantly after several microneedling sessions and regular use of vitamin c serum combined with the usual skincare best practices (sunscreen, avoid saunas / warmth etc.) I had seen 2 dermatologists who weren't actually very helpful. One said it would reduce over time and not to do anything. The other said that there were only a handful of people in Australia who could provide the kind of laser treatment I would need, and put me on more hydroquinoine. I've since met several people who have said that daily hydroquinoine was too harsh on their skin, even after the standard 2-3 week adaptation period.

ORIGINAL POST with minor edits in hindsight:
I had one session of kybella and was left with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). Firstly, I didn't get proper aftercare instructions right away - it took several hours after the treatment for the instructions to arrive, not sure why. The Dr (not a dermatologist by the way, it can be confusing) didn't pick up on the PIH during the first review. It then got worse and then when I went back to review it, they said he was off doing lipo so I had to see another Dr. She told me the only effective solution would be to bleach my entire face - naturally, I was hesitant to do more things after something had already gone wrong, and I like my general skin colour. She gave me some tretinoin which didn't really help. She seemed very focused on limiting the clinic's liabilities and was unhelpful and uncaring. When I was finally given hydroquinoine for a spot treatment, I wasn't given the right instructions for my skin which is really sensitive. It's hard to get things right on the first go, but if the Dr had shown more care / interest, he would have seen I had excessive redness even with sunscreen and a hat on and adapted the treatment. It also would have been nice to have 1 person I could just ring up quickly to jump on issues early. It took going to 2 dermatologists (by now we are 8 months after the kybella) to finally get a tailored hydroquinoine mix and the right aftercare instructions so that now the PIH isn't excessively red. It's also taken months of follow ups for me to receive the photos that the clinic took (I've only received one set still).

My advice - this place is a money making machine that is fine for very small, very safe procedures OR seasoned beauty treatment goers. If you want / need to be handheld a bit more as you're new to these treatments and compex skincare routines, I highly suggest going to boutique specialists. They may or may not be a doctor, but their experience and customer service commitment are invaluable.
