I had two cartilage peircings done by Jess a few months ago. Jess was really lovely and also very professional she took the time to explain what she was doing and also the after care of the peircings. Jess was easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend seeing her for a peircing. Will definitely be back for more.

Have had all 3 current tattoo's done at Illustrated Man Studio, one by Brett, Wayne and Libby, and amazed by all 3 at the stellar quality of the pieces, all friendly and easy-going artists with great customer service skills, incredible care for their work and a welcoming and friendly working environment. From one Dudeist Priest to others, can happily Abide by this place and can't wait to get my next piece done, hopefully very soon.

Came here upon recommendation by a friend and was not disappointed. Wayne was an absolute legend! My best friend and I got our first tattoos together and he answered all our questions patiently, as well as doing a beautiful job. Very pleased!

Libby did my tattoo and it was perfect! Absolutely what I wanted, looks amazing and Libby was a doll!

I came here for my first tattoo in 2013 and I'm still coming here 5 years later. Libby does amazing work, the atmosphere is fun and the pricing is super reasonable. Worth the drive up from Canberra every time.

Got my hand done by the old guy at this shop same bad experience as the other reviewers lines are crooked minimal design rushed in and out job no time it seemed to finish the job properly after two weeks it started dropping out. Thanks mate I should of spent the 600 at Bondi ink and got it done by an actual tattoo artist thanks for wasting my time and money STAY AWAY shocking service and artist

Had great customer service off Jess. Removed a botched nose piercing for me a few weeks ago and re-pierced my tragus a few weeks later - hardly felt it at all.

Amazing tattoo with Libby! My 1st tattoo ever, been waiting for years, amd she made it so worth waiting for. I am visiting from the US, and this shop was super comfortable and professional, and I felt right at home! Do yourself a favor and visit for your first (or next!) tattoo!

I never plan ahead for tattoos i always swing by illustrated man for walk ins.they always find time to fit me in and have had my tattoos done by different artists there each time and I'm chuffed with how they have all turned out.will keep coming back for sure xxx

Absolutely awesome! I travel from Newcastle just to get tattoo'd by Libby! I feel so welcomed by all the staff at the illustrated man whenever I am in town! Couldn't ask for a better place to be tattoo'd.

I got my tattoo done here and it’s so awful, it wasn’t even filled in properly, and the lack of service I got was disgraceful, didn’t even make eye contact to talk! Very rude, I do not recommend getting your tattoo done here!

I highly recommend going here for piercings! I had Jess and she was amazing. Really friendly and very professional. I was a bit nervous but she made sure I was comfortable and took the time to explain how to care for the piercing afterwards. I definitely will be coming back for another one!
