Cannot recommend them enough! I came in with 3 other people as walk-ins and we were seen pretty quickly. All the artists in were so nice and very accommodating and reception was super friendly. I was tattooed by Brett and I couldn't be happier with the outcome!

Customer service from Chuck was 10/10 and an absolute legend. Was looking forward to getting another tattoo but the old sad tattoo artists behind the counter had zero motivation & ruined the whole vibe for me. Stay home, drink tea and sulk by yourself instead of bringing it into the store……

Incredible staff, Libby was a absolute gem and so talented. Thank you for bringing my idea to life. 10/10 recommend.

Super busy in there tonight. Booked a bigger job next weekend with Chuck. He's done work for me in the past. Wayne and Chuck were both helpful tonight and I didn't walk out disappointed tonight. Still got a little job tonight that Wayne did. These guys rock.thanks heaps

A phenomenal store. I always return there for all my tattoos as it has such a welcoming atmosphere, and amazing workers. I recommend it to ALL my friends as they’ve never disappointed. I got a tattoo there today, Rachel who works there was so kind and patient with me, truly made it such a wonderful and positive experience. Chuck has tattooed me twice now and he is an extremely skilled artist while still being extremely kind and welcoming. If you’re considering going to this location I could not recommend it enough. Thank you to everyone who works at illustrated man!

I called first to find out how to book in and was welcomed to walk-in the same day.
I got the chance to speak with Rachel who generously gave her time to work with me on my design/idea. I was a bit nervous.so I was asking a lot of questions.my goodness she knows her stuff and Tattoo History!
I was even shown the original shop doors that are kept safe out the back of the shop ;)

Only giving one star because I can’t review less. They werent unfriendly, however the tattoo was entirely blown out, with every line they did being completely scarred.

Chuck was extremely nice and accommodated my friends and I in last minute. We got exactly what we were looking for and would definitely recommend him to anyone planning on getting a tattoo done.

Nice enough service and result for a walk in, but do yourself a favour and walk 10 minutes up the road at Buckingham St for a 100x more exceptional walk in customer experience and amazing quality with immediate attention and time with an artist to get your design perfect.

I’m glad I only came here for very simple line drawings. And even then it was very rushed, good thing my design can be considered "abstract". Anything more and I would likely regret it.
There is for sure a some arrogance in the air. Some artists were nicer than others, specially the actual owner who was rude to other customers. They didn't even make me fill out any form or sign anything.

I came in this week to get tattooed and my experience was excellent. Rach was professional, kind, hospitable and patient with all patrons and took the time to understand what I wanted in regards to design, size and placement of the tattoo. I was tattooed by Chuck, he was very patient, talkative and friendly and had great attention to detail, not to mention my tattoo was essentially painless. Thank you!

Random walkin sesh on a Sunday arvo. Was very accommodating and flexible with designs. Affordable too! Small tat would cost 100!

Researched the place a bit beforehand and thought it’d be okay. When I went the artist used a razor that had clearly been used by multiple other people.the tattoos themselves are winked and one of them is backwards compared to the original design i wanted. 2 small tattoos cost me $150 which is insane considering the poor quality.the staff were really rude. Not the best experience I’ve had at a tattoo parlour

The asian man did a Horrible Job on my Hand tat im lasering ist away now. He just Watend quick done. I hate to write bad Comments but its needed in this case.

Gary did my arm. I still have a little bit left but I'm obsessed. His attention to detail is amazing and he makes your time worth every second

Came in to get some tats with friends, greeted by a grumpy Asian gentleman, fair warning to anyone visiting he is very pushy and arrogant. Got a tattoo in my native language, before doing the tat I asked him to alter it to make the space between words smaller to which he literally replied in an annoyed voice "then I have to edit it". Dude isn't that your job?

Once the tattoo was ready to be done I asked him to line up the stencil on my arm three times because it was not straight, each time he did begrudgingly, in the end it did not even come out straight at all, it looks so bad I kinda get depressed everytime I see it. He smashed it out within 15 mins, rushed it just so he could move onto the next client.

A friend of mine got a black band done her arm and it wasn't even straight, he rushed all of our tattoos, dug really deep aswell, never bled this much with a tattoo before.really not sure how the other artists are, they might be great but unfortunately we dealt with only one man who has honestly ruined my tattoo

Jess did 4 piercings for me.she's great and very professional and keeps her space clean, definitely knows what she's doing! Highly recommend her for all piercings

Absolutely awesome! U have had Chuck do heaps of quality work done for me. He's a great guy extremely professional and quick!
Just had this done in about 10 - 15 mins! Very happy!
