The Epping Club reviews
65Had a delicious meal in the Rawson restaurant, went at lunch on a Saturday without a booking, but everyone was so accommodating in getting us a table. Very friendly staff. I decided it was worth joining if just for the eateries alone, of which there are two, also the Brasserie cafe. Joining fee was only $10, plus you get lots of free & discount vouchers. Highly recommend.
Aesthetically Pleasing establishment. Variety of food selection, excellent customer service. Ideal for conferences or meetings. I enjoyed my day out with Lemon Lime & Bitters. Thirst quenching drink in a hot day.
Was here for a wedding. The ballroom is beautiful! The pork was a little dry but the other dishes was pretty good!
Very relaxing and always good service in the bistro or Rawsons, their restaurant. Love the main flower arrangement
Food isn't that great! Highly not recommend this place to anyone to have food here! Food tastes very blur!
Rawsons restaurant is outstanding. Very helpful happy staff throughout compared to sir staff at place like Hornsby RSL club
Nice ambiance but overpriced food and drinks. Too many gambling machines. Not a great place for families.
I mean it's basically a bit of a last resort when you've gone back to the burbs to visit family and you need somewhere to put away a few Glenfiddich and punch a dart.
Food is cheap but nothing fancy. Good for groups but nothing worth while. Would recommend for elderly people or those just wanting a drink.
St Valentine's Day dinner. Good value; great service; extremely knowledgeable (food & wine) waitress;ovely real rose on arrival; will return.
Nice place great atmosphere and lovely staff BUT not for functions!
Attended as a wedding guest no proper bar for ordering drinks in the reception lounge.
Food on the menu looks good and presentation is nice, unfortunately most guests went home hungry. Food was not edible hence the 2 star rating. I don't recommend this place for weddings or any functions AVOID.
Attending a wedding here the host was awesome she really knew how to get the crowd going. The meal was a let down it was cold and the steak was tough supposed to be medium rare but was well done
Great place to hold functions and to dine! Beautiful light structure inside at the entrance before the grand staircase! Nice place for air-conditioning on hot days as well!
Friday nights are sorted - food is great do check out dinner specials -and we always enjoy happy hour. Keep it up! Don't forget to check out upstairs the display of historical pieces from the wars! And photo with the giant sparkly chandelier!
Rawson's was a disappointment. Service was patchy. Food over-priced if not getting banquet deal and then not that great anyway.
Worst place to work, no ethics, HR and management are extremely unprofessional, stay away from this company, lots of deceiving individuals, including within HR coordinator and also don't care about their staff just profits.
"All that glitters is not gold" - The HR and management are disappointing, all they care is profits and mystery shoppers. I find this place with lots of superficiality and a bit overpriced, even for staff members.
Great place to meet for a drink.
Restaurant and bar available for food. Parking underground for members. Some street and supermarket parking available.
Lovey stuff, very helpful, comfortable interiour, affordablr and good quality food at the restorant and bistro.
My wife and I went to a function upstairs from the club itself. Very nice! The function room was large, clean, neat and tidy with nice decor. The catering with I assume was provided by the club was excellent. They provided finger food and coffee. The coffee was the best coffee I've had in quite a while. Afterwards we checked out the little RSL museum, it's well worth a look in.
