The Epping Club

The Epping club is a nice enough RSL. The usual sign in process for members and guests applies.
While there is also a fairly standard dress code this seems to be given less attention these days which is unfortunate.
Unlike some other rsls, the Epping club hasn't quite gone full dance club and family fun rooms. There is a sports bar, sit down restaurant, upstairs function rooms, and even a gym (don't forget the pokies room).
You can book a function here and they are well catered. Parking is available but the train station and major bus routes are also a stone throw away. A courtesy bus also operates around the local area.

Food and drink are reasonably priced though we would like to see a bit more quality and variety for the food.

Final thoughts: if you want a beer without being harassed by vocal or seedy patrons the Epping club is your spot. Though there isn't much else in epping to choose from either.

The function room was pretty and serviceable.

The bar staff were gruff and the beer served was warm and flat. The staff forget to serve the bridal party main meals or drinks. They messed up dietry requirements and weren't helpful.

Coffee only warm.
Disappointing menu selection unless you eat lots of bread. No salads or fresh choices.
Had the Spicy Lamb and Vege Soup in the end. Tasty but not a summer dish.

A beautiful venue ; enjoyed a fantastic luncheon at the Rawson ; staff were friendly, courteous and professional ; the chef provided a fantastic delecious 4 course meal.

Stunning club for functions. Staff well presented and polite. Managed & adhered to COVID restrictions professionally. Food was beautifully presented and delicious.

Food is good, but one the last two visits, have had to wait over an hour for food. I counted 6 people in the dining room on our last visit and still a long wait. Won't be returning.

Hi. My wife & I attended a wedding reception in the Grand ballroom. Epping club is such an awesome place & the staff are wonderful. The decor is very tastefully done & you will be pleased. We have been to the club before & would recommend this venue wholeheartedly. Keep up your excellent work "Epping Club" especially under these 'Covid 19' times.

Very classy building and interior, more like being in the Australia Club or similar. Staff very friendly. Food great.

1st time there. Lovely place great atmosphere & staff lovely & friendly food was also lovely.

The beef steak was a bit chewy and only came with overly cooked roast potatoes and lettuce. Would’ve expected more vegetables.

The garlic pizza was virtually like eating pizza base with a tiny amount of parsley and salt sprinkled on the top. I would expect a lot more from this RSL. They should be a lot more generous wuth the topping! Looks like a frozen pizza base from the supermarket.

Get rid of this contracter as they will ruin the reputation of the RSL.

Special table reserved for us in BINGO area at 12noon set up by very happy & pleasant staff. Food good.

Lovely atmosphere and the food was very tasty as well. Beautiful furnishings to top it all off.

The baked fish and chips ran out on Friday night so had to have fried ones with very basic salad, just a few leaves.

We had our son's wedding last Saturday. The ceremony and reception.
After at least three postponements due to Covid, the day finally arrived.
Sunaina, Robert and staff did an amazing job to make it such a memorable occasion. Nothing was too hard for them and everything went off so well.
Service, food and venue were excellent, with everyone having a wonderful time. It was very satisfying to hear guests commenting on all aspects.
Still reliving such a fun celebration after such a trying year.

As per my experience, all is fine but the staff is really clueless what needs to done procedure wise.
I called on to inquire about gym cancellation and they took all my details and told me its done. Next month money was again deduced. Now they tell me i need to mail and they cant give me a refund if they dont have a mail which i was not informed to be sent.
Really casual staff not much interested in resolving problems but just talking theoretical procedures.

Highly recommended to stay cautious with EPPING CLUB on these parameters.

Rawsons restaurant was about absolutely delicious!

All our meals were extremely well prepared with the Asian dishes the standouts!

I am level one member for few years.
I usually come twice a week. During COVID situation I try to use towel, but couple of items I forgot.
No one asked me to leave, but today Tracy Wah asked me to leave the gym.
I understand the the safety and regulation.
But the body language and attitude of Tracy was not appropriate at all for a five star club.
Felt like criminal by her attitude.

Rawsons restaurant for Fathers day 2020. Again, smoked Rump cap for main was next to perfection, I didn't think it could be better but ahh you impressed me to say the least again. Scallops for entree are just amazing too. Great service as always is also why my Mother attends with friends every month.

Love Epping club, except I really didn't like how rude and abrupt the guy was at the reception. Not everyone has been to the place so not everyone knows what to do when arriving, a nice polite tone in the voice would be much more appreciated. And they need better air conditioning in the grand ball room. It's only spring and it felt stuffy. But the way they plan everything is spot on and event flows smoothly and everything's beautiful.

Chris from the concierge was very helpful. Coz of him I signed up as a member. Yet to try their restaurants!
