The Enmore Theatre reviews
72We watched Brian McKnight perform here not too long ago. He was amazing. The staff at the theater were great and made sure to escort us straight to our seats and were also available for any assistance. They made sure people who had camera flash or standing in front of seated crowds were managed and not bothering the experience for everyone else
Great looking theatre, friendly staff. Drinks are a bit on the expensive side but that's pretty standard
Got to a concert early to line up last weekend so I could make sure that I was one of the first people in, after 2 hours of waiting we were told we were in the wrong spot even though I had asked 2 separate staff members where we were meant to go, they opened up the doors and so all of the people who had gotten their hours earlier to ensure they were close to the front weren't told and people who had only just arrived got in before us, the staff members need to be more informed as everyone I spoke to or asked questions to had no idea about anything. The theatre itself is gorgeous and an amazing place for a venue, but just very disappointed in the staff.
Traditional art deco theatre that has been restored into a lovely venue for music and comedy. The toilet situation is hectic during during the interval as numerous bottle necks make it hard for people to get in. The nature of the theatre means nothing can be really done about this but it can be frustrating. Nevertheless, I always enjoy seeing things at this venue!
5 star evening with some legends of Australian rock & roll. The Enmore itself is a great example of the art deco period of Oz cinema design. Nicely restored recently. And for live acts great ambiance.
Seen machine head, Bruce Dickinson, cheap trick and the sopranos here. I love the Enmore.great staff, very accommodating.
A great venue in a lively location. Only issue is parking. However if you manage to book a spot in the official car park it's an easy walk to the theater.
Awesome WSFM concert. First time to Enmore theatre. Great atmosphere. But seats a bit squishy for my cuddly bum.lol. Had a great time. Excellent food choices in area. Felt very safe too.
Excellent venue in Enmore/Newtown. The stalls are the place to be to get the full experience of a band.
Parking in the area is worse than a poker game in a hurricane
But this place is amazing and always a good vibe
We had a great night at Passenger's concert there. Just one bad thing was the carpet on the dance floor. So dirty that your shoes would stick to the floor!
Great show. The staff was very attentive and even though there was a lot of people finding our allocated seats was made easy by them. We wish there were more good options.
Cosy place to watch a performance, park in parking areas unless you want to pay an extra $100 on top of the show
Great theatre. We are going to Let there be rock this Thursday and I hope it will be as great as others
Venue is always a pleasure, had the special treat of seeing TAFE design student production this visit, i cannot recommend it enough. TAFE Enmore design program is still top notch, amazing job!
Good venue for live music, stand up comedy etc. A lot of food options in area but no parking - use public transport
Have they turned down the sound. A great venue, easy to gets beers before and during the show. But. I'm sure they have turned down the sound?
The Rubens show was fantastic, engaging, energetic, in touch and fun. Can't ask for much more than that. Local muso's doing good.
We went to see the Gang of Youths. I believe the audio let them down. The music from the instruments overwhelmed the vocals. This was also the case when the support act played. It's a nice theatre the audience was pleased maybe it was just me expecting more and better.
Although the band's playing were good, the theatre needs desperately to be upgraded. The sound quality is below standards. Not recommended
