The Big Banana Fun Park reviews
65Rides and amusement run by children with no control. Waited patiently for our turn to play laser tag which my son was looking forward to for months. Only to be pushed in front of by players from the previous game and the staff told us sorry you will just have to wait. We refunded our game due to time constraints and went straight to the toboggan. I walked ahead of the line and saw a ticket booth so went back to wait in line for 40 minutes only to be told the ticket booth wasn't operational and I needed to walk across the other side of the park to get tickets first. My son is now devastated. We have just spent an amazing 2 weeks on holiday for it all to be ruined on the last day by the most unprofessional, poorly organised, outdated and overpriced unattraction. And before you think I'm being dramatic for saying this one event could ruin a holiday, they were my children's words not my own.
Great fun but employees in water park need to be a little tolerant of little ones. Got told my 3 and a 1/2 year old had to go down the kids slides on her own. Guess these ppl don't have kids and don't realise they get a little scared easily and only way down is to slid with them. Otherwise an excellent place for family fun.
Kids made to remove headwear for swimming while doing water activities - no good reason for that and plenty of bad ones.
Excellent service. Cafe has reasonable prices but awesome food. Toboggans were great fun but ask how long the line is before you buy your tickets. We waited 45mins for 1 go in the nsw school holidays. The giant slide was great fun for everyone (especially the kids too little for the toboggans). Water park seemed pricey for a 'session'. I wish we had have done the banana tour but ran out of time. A good tourist destination to spend half a day
Lost a bit of it's appeal over the years & could do with more attention, still worth a drop if you want an overpriced drink or something.
