The Big Banana Fun Park reviews
65Lots to do here, great place if you have a day to waste, but hard to get parking. I was just travelling past and wanted somewhere to grab breakfast and a coffee, so only went to the cafe here. I picked the wrong place. Hard to turn into heading southbound, even harder to turn back out of. Had to drive around for ages to find parking, with kids and oblivious pedestrians running in front of my car. A long walk back to the cafe, considerable wait for food and it was only 9.30am. Serving size was tiny for the price ($18), cold upon receiving, and served in a bowl that was hard to eat out of with a knife and fork. Their $6 coffee was vile, tasted worse than cheap instant coffee and was meant to be made by a barista. This is definitely not the right place to pull into for a quick stop, that is probably partly my fault but I had been on the road for hours with about 8hrs drive ahead of me so stopped into the first interesting place I saw once I reached Coffs. I didn't have time to do the mini golf (and was travelling solo) but the course looked good and if you're a mini golf fanatic, add it to your bucket list.
Parking is free and kids love it. There is no admission ticket, but children can choose from several items to purchase. There is a restaurant with a good dining environment. Only suitable for children.
Lovely place but expensive for the rides and you spend all day queing. The plantation tour was self guided but still cost $40 for a family.
Seating arrangements were most pleasent. There was a large banana out front, didn't think it fit the theme. The banana themed Suzuki Swift made my day.
I only passed here and they get very sweet bananas.
Açaí Bowl is good and banana cake.
The big banana is a cool experience. The park is good. We did the mini golf and it was busy but enjoyable.
Still the same after all these years. We pretty much just go for the sentimentality & the rock candy.
Great fun stop if you have kids on the road trip. Plenty of activities to break things up or have a rest day.
Has certainly changed since the last visit. Very child orientated so parents have your wallets ready.
An icon entertainment park at Coffs harbour. If you love ice skating, include this one on your to do list.
An iconic venue in Coffs Harbour! Everyone knows the Big Banana! Nice cakes & coffee at the cafeteria! Good lolly shop! Fun rides!
I was devastated to learn that it's not actually a banana, lots of cool things to do here its worth the stop.
Stopped for the iconic shot with the big banana. Other things to do there and it’s well set up but is more targeted to families
A great place wth other attractions attached
Nice cafe
Try the big burger with grilled bananas, so delicious
Needs homemade banana ice cream though
We stopped by and the service counter had closed. The lady behind the counter said order quickly while the grills are hot and we can fix you up. Great food, good experience for my grandson's first experience.
Got there late afternoon, so didn't get the chance to go on rides or see shows, but checked out the shops and took plenty of photos. Good tourist attraction.
Only visited the souvenir shop and Cafe. It's not for grey nomads. We will need to arrive a bit earlier next time.
Great advengures are to be had if you are ever close to Coffs Harbour. Good pricing structure that allows you to only go where you choose.
Mini golf was great, ice skating was awesome, the big slide was better than I thought.
Wish we had more time to explore and do more while we were here. Highly recommended
Was so much better than we expected! The cafe was great for lunch and the frozen chocolate covered banana’s are to die for.
So would be a lot better if all the attractions were open at the same time. Made for huge line ups with staggered openings etc. If you want a decent water park head to Sydney.
