The Big Banana Fun Park reviews
65Big Bannana has grown bigger and better since my last visit 13 yrs ago. We had a lovely time even hough we visited without kids.
Brings back memories but now with even more fun. Tabogoning water slides and good food. Very busy on weekends and major holidays. Cool to get a pic and keep it flowing through the generations!
Our kids had a ball at this place, the rides were great, lines a bit long, but we went in school holidays so that’s what you expect!
Good value and a road road trip!
The park is massive but the big banana was smaller than i expected. Kids still had fun and worth a visit if you are in the area.
Plenty of different activities for all ages plus a good cafe (that has a burger with banana on it). The gift shop also has some quirky gifts.
Went there today had a blast.we did the water park and ice skating.thanks for a great time.only thing I'd say is we we're really hungry after and the kitchen was closed at 330pm could stay open longer.
Everything you can imagine that has anything to do with bananas can be found at The Big Banana. This is a great place for kids as a roadside stop. Banana ice cream, banana toys, banana coffee mugs, keychains, postcards - everything! There is a theme park out back too although we didn't take advantage of this attraction. On a weekend this place is very busy. The washrooms are clean, parking is free. Worth the stop just to see what you can do with a single theme - like bananas!
Over rated tourist trap. Worth the visit to say you went, but not actually worth the trip. Lolly shop was kinda fun and the cheese shop was actually good. Hence the 2 stars. Everything else is tacked on to a boring experience. Bring back the banana farming and ditch the overpriced trinkets and expensive "activities". Honestly, go somewhere else.
We had a great day at the bag banana eating a family sized banana split, playing mini golf and going ice skating. Our children loved it here and the prices were reasonable. Altogether it only cost us around $130 for what we did on the day but there a loads of options if you don't want to spend too much money. Watching the lollies being made was interesting for the kids and that was free.
The food there is pretty good especially the banana fritter.
As for the activities, its very spread out so based to decide on where to go.
Meant to be Promoting bananas. Not even a handful of items realated to bananas. Yes I did visit the cafe and gift shop. And yes I did visit 8yrs ago and the cafe and gift shop has not changed. My photos that I've now and the past are exactly the same. The cafe they buy bananas lollies from the supermarket and then re packed to sell. The same with the banana cake. The ice cream is not real banana
And if you want to be sarcastic in your response. Well my response WILL BE?
An amazing place to visit and eat at. Definitely a tourist destination and one to tick off on the 'biggest' things list in ones travels.
A great place to stop on your road trip or a fun day out! Can be a quick bite to eat or a full day of fun! Something for everyone!
Great place for families. Plenty to see and do. Lovely water park, toboggan run, ice skating, Candy factory. Also eatery and other shops
WE HAD SO MUCH FUN WITH THE KIDS AND IT IS A LOVELY PLACE FOR THE HOILADAYS AND FAMILYS TO RELAX WHILE THERE CHILDREN HAVE SO MUCH FUN COST OF MONEY THOUGH AND SESSION TIMES IS SILLY BUT OTHER THAN THAT I LOVE IT
Tourist trap. You should take a photo as a novelty but that's about it.the toilet's nice and clean so make use of it as well if you're in a long roadtrip
We got to spend the whole day at the Big Banana. Plenty to do a photo beneth the Iconic Australian Banana. An educational World of Bananas Theatre & Plantation Tour, kids thought it was great.then off to the water slides, tabbogans, & laser tag. So much fun for both kids and dads Haha!
To finish the day off Choc coated Bananas & Family banana split. We had to return the next day to go to the candy shop, & opal shop. You won't be disappointed.
The big banana is great for families who aren't on a budget. Heaps to do here, for a great range of activities. They're just not priced for the general punter.
What's a visit to Coff's Harbour if you don't pay a visit to the Big Banana! Quite educational on bananas! Wouldn't say everything here is value for money but if you're in holiday mode - spend up!
