I was in your store at Charlestown shopping centre just the other week. My granddaughter usually refills my sim credits but she’s gone on holidays for 2 months. I went in to see how to do it myself or if it would be easier for me to get a phone plan.
I had no problem with the customer service I received from the young boy at the desk but I was disgusted by the behaviour of one of the other women employees. I think she may of been a manager, if so I’m even more displeased to hear her swearing and abusing her employees. I didn’t get her name, a blonde young woman with thin glasses.
At first I thought it was just one employee who may of been in-trouble for making a mistake but she continued to treat all her staff with such disrespect. I was going to say something to her as I left but thought maybe she was just having a bad day and it wasn’t my place to make it worse.
It wasn’t until today when I was walking past the store I saw her again sternly talking to the young man that served me. In my opinion if customers can pick up on ill treatment of employees then something is definitely wrong with the work place environment.
I don’t know if my message will get seen here, I looked for a place to email it but could find an address. If anyone from the store does happen to see this I do think that woman should have a good talking to, she doesn’t seem very much like a leader type but I suppose everyone deserves a second chance, I just think she should reflect on the way she treats people especially in the workplace environment.
Am disappointed in Telstra for letting this go on.

Have been trying all morning to get through keep getting recorded message. Was on phone for hours yesterday can't access my email. Had same problem with laptop last week a really nice guy fixed problem in the shop and said to email if any problems, this happened with my desktop, same problem, have sent messages but no reply. Talking on to Telstra on phone no luck said to talk to Apple they said to go back to Telstra going round in circles. This is ever since we went on the NBN nothing but problems, with I could change providers but Telstra seem to have the monopoly where we are. Just banging my head against the wall, terrible service.

Well that will do me, i go in to enquire about a new phone and their deals etc, only to be told that sorry im just the floor manager and it would take a long time for me to go through them with you, but they are on the telstra website maybe i could see them there.disgusting service when they had 3 customers in the store at the time

Poor customer service.unwilling to help when there’s an obvious fault with my new phone. Tried to give me a big spill about only having 3 days to rectify the issue. No wonder they have the score that they have. I wish I could give them a 1/4 of a star.

Rude service from young employee! I went in there and there were four sales people at the desk and no one was serving any customers at the counter. I got served immediately by a young employee that I had not seen before and asked if I can change my post account to a pre paid monthly mobile account. The response I got was there is an hour and a half wait. I straight away mentioned that there was three computers and four people not serving anybody. The young man still refused to sign me up, so I mentioned I will go to Optus. The response I got was WELL GO TO OPTUS, so I did. The service at Optus Charlestown were lovely and signed me up immediately.

Floor manager needs to have further intensive, remedial training in what good customer service is actually about. Terrible experience taking our business elae where. Aggressive attitude and not much help They do not even warrant 1/2 a star

This place is happy to do business, up until a point where there becomes an issue. They then avoid you, not reply to emails etc. Customers beware, do your business elsewhere!

Dear Telstra,

The other day I was having trouble with my mobile device. It was so slow and the internet was terrible! I went into your store at Charlestown and was greeted by a lovely chap. I think his name was Cody. He was so helpful. He replaced the SIM card in my phone and in a flash it was working better than it had in ages. I was so impressed that I felt the need to email your corporation to thank you and thank the young fellow who assisted me.

Extremely rude customer service. Unhelpful and didn’t make any effort to resolve the issue. Store had dirty floors to add to my bad experience. Went to Kotara store and had a wonderful experience. Wish I could rate 1/2 a star!

Very arrogant and rude. Offered no real help or time frame for replenishment stock. Could not even order the phone for me. Just did not want the business.

Disgraceful service. Incredibly rude, arrogant and aggressive.

I actually went to upgrade my phone plan. After experiencing the worst customer service I have ever encountered, EVER, I left the store and will be shopping around for a new phone provider.

Can't even buy a tablet off them. When i tried too they kicked me out of the store. How their still in business beats me. Apparently politely asking when new stock will arrive and asking to reserve an item is rude. Unbelieveable yet true.

Last 2 weeks I've been dealing with the charlestown store. Ffs, do you know how answer a phone? You are a telecomunications company right? This is the 3rd time that after calling the store and leaving messages multiple times, I'll be heading in person. So frustrating.
They do not return calls if a message is left.

One on one in person the telstra team are fine.

But knowing how to pick a landline, we'll they fail.

Terrible store.go to the Kotara store, much better. These guys don't answer their phones and they also don't do online bookings. Plus there's this one male manager (about 5'11'' with a short beard) who is complete jerk to customers for no reason. He must be compensating for something.

I have been to the telstra shop 3 times to get my phone fixed on warranty still waiting no luck. Also have insurance
