A great workshop all around. The teacher/guide photographer was brilliant in his depth of knowledge, and thorough steps were laid out one by one for the entire group to understand.

I recently completed an eight-week PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE FOR BEGINNERS with Sydney Photographic Workshops. I strongly believed that this course was best suitable for people like me, who had enthusiasm to take good photos but with little knowledge on photographing. I felt much confident in terms of exposure and composition when taking a photo after the course. The tutor, Glenn, was extremely knowledgeable and addressed all questions we had during the course. Have just completed the Beginners Photography Course and it has been a wonderful experience. I am not a beginner but the course catered for a variety of skill levels perfectly. Daniel is an excellent teacher and the combination of theory and practical is exactly right. I feel inspired and armed with the technical and aesthetic skills to venture forward with my hobby at a much higher level. I am really looking forward to participating in more classes in the near future.

This was my first experience with Sydney Photographic Workshops and it was just fantastic. Highly recommend the Night Photography Workshop. Glenn Lockitch was our tutor and he was just fantastic and so knowledgeable. I learnt so much within such a short amount of time. I would definitely recommend this organisation and their workshops to anyone who is interested in photography.

I undertook the Night Photography workshop in November on what threatened to be another wet Sydney night. Sydney Photographic workshops kept me well informed on whether the session was going ahead or not. The tutor on the night, Glen, was very knowledgeable and approachable and only too willing to help with answering any questions. He freely gave of his time and even went over the allotted 4 hours to ensure we got to practice what he was teaching us. A great night and I would thoroughly recommend this workshop.

I went to this workshop with fairly low overall expectations.basically I went along with a good friend as she had signed up saying she had heard good things about it.

I was very pleasantly surprised at just how good it was - well organized, well supported and excellent overall value.

Daniel Linnet is the principal at SPW and he really is a rare combination of excellent photographic skills and experience, combined with an incredible passion for his craft and the ability to teach in a clear, concise and very meaningful manner.

Portraits are my weakest photographic skill and I was really energized by what I learned from Daniel. The course exceeded all expectations and I would strongly recommend it if you are in the same boat.

I was part of the Travel Photography Workshop and loved it! With both Ben and Daniel we had the ability to ask questions, and get hands on experience to taking photos in different places, on the go, and in all kinds of light. It was exactly what I was hoping for from a class, and with a small group it was easy to feel like you were supported if need be. Throughout the day they offered tips and tricks and unlike other photography classes I have taken, this truly gave you the chance to shoot and capture photos all day. Highly recommend!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend! I did the Beginners Course and learnt so much over the eight weeks. It covered all the necessities and Daniel was a fantastic tutor.

The Night Workshop was FANTASTIC! I learnt heaps and was able to capture some amazing photos. The tutor was knowledgeable and really friendly and explained everything very clearly. Excellent value for money and I would highly recommend.
