My heartfelt thanks to Mai and Dr Tsai for their care and kindness. I was in a very stressed state when I arrived, Dr Tsai is not just a brilliant physician but a warm and very caring person. Mai went out of her way to help me get my appointment and I will always be appreciative of this. I can highly recommend this clinic and their team.

Have been most impressed with the services provided at the Clinic in Hornsby. My experience relates to the clinical services provided by Dr. Dharini. Her procedure was carried out impeccably well to perfection. On having seen the size of the extracted cyst, I was taken aback how well Dr. Dharini meticulously managed to handle the whole procedure seamlessly to perfection. I was most impressed with Dr. Dharini's genteelness and attention to detail. Thank you very much Dr. Dharini for your kindness, selfless care and most of all the excellent comforting treatment.

Fantastic service, great reception, friendly doctors. My visit to the clinic was so easy and the doctor I saw was helpful and took the time to explain everything to me.

Incredibly disappointing.

In the past, my skin inspections were detailed and thorough. Dr Shepperd was brilliant.

My appointment with Dr Kotz was rushed. I spent more time providing my medical history than actually having my skin inspected.

If you are wishing to book an appointment at this clinic, I strongly recommend Dr Shepperd and avoid Dr Kotz.

After many years of coming here, I had a challenge making an appointment, for the first time in many years. They weren't interested in the why, but insistent that I pay a $50 penalty. While some would argue that if they have that in their policy then it is fair, I rarely know of businesses that enforce that on regular, normally reliable customers. For that kind of stubborn enforcement and greed, I shall take my business elsewhere. Oh yeah, on a previous appointment, after a biopsy, the clinic rang me and said "you need to come tomorrow to have a melanoma removed". They didn't tell me that the biopsy removed it and this was precautionary. Imagine the undue stress that caused?

Very nice clinic and easy to get too. I have seen 2 doctors at this clinic, both were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Doctor was very good.one senior receptionist was offensive.she abused the junior receptionist and her manner was acidic.

For anyone wondering if they bulk bill (because they conveniently leave this information out on their website) - they don't

I see Dr Shepperd which i highly recommend. He is very good and has a wonderful bed side manner. I find the reception staff most professional and pleasant, in particular the office manager Jane. She always going above and beyond to help the customers and i am always warmly welcomed.

Only consider this place if you ok with waiting. Doctor was excellent when I got to see her.
Quite rude receptionist and limited recognition of making me wait an excessive time.

I've been seeing Dr. MacKinnon (Kate) for a few years now. She is absolutely delightful, very thorough and professional. I actually enjoy my appointment! I have no hesitation recommending Dr. MacKinnon. I like the Reception staff as well.

I had a BCC removed from my face by Dr Gupta and I was very happy with the result. I can hardly see the scar.

I’ve seen Dr Will here a few times and found him very thorough with a lovely bedside manner and I wouldn’t go to anyone else now as long as I’m living in the area. With a lot of moles, I prefer to go to a skin doctor who has an eye for picking up on problems rather than be checked by my regular GP. I was shocked to see the low rating but, reading the reviews, it seems low rating are about reception not the actual doctors. I have personally found reception staff professional and pleasant. (I’d probably still go here for the expertise even if they weren’t).

I went here for a skin checkup over a year ago, and ever since I've been hounded by phone calls to come back in for another checkup.

When my first appointment was finished, at the front desk they asked me if I wanted a reminder in 6 months to come back in. I said no thank you. They said ok, thats fine. They then asked if I wanted a 12 monthly reminder. I said definitely not. They said ok, no reminders.

A few months later I got a 6 month reminder phone call (it wasn't even 6 months yet) and they wouldn't take 'no' for an answer.

Ever since then I've had a phone call about once a week or every second week to come back in for an appointment. Every time I told them to stop calling me, I am not coming back in and this is the tenth, eleventh, twelfth, thirteeneth, phone call and EVERY time they say sorry, it won't happen again - and then I get another phone call, that week or the next.

It didn't matter who I called and talked to, no one could make the calls stop. I tried head office, I tried managers, I tried the call centre, I sent emails. They won't stop.

Eventually, after a few months and blowing my top, I got someone who agreed the calls were excessive, and they informed me there would be no more calls and ALL of my contact details would be deleted from their database. Hooray!

Then last week I got another phone call asking me to come in for a checkup.

So obviously my details were never deleted and telling them to stop calling me is like asking for the drought to break or for God to descend from the heavens. These people are unbelievable.

If you want to spend the rest of your life answering your phone and hearing, "Hello, its the Sun Doctors! " you'll love this place!

I see Dr Will Sheperd, extremely thorough and explains everything very well. Couldnt ask for better skin cancer care.

I arrived 6 minutes late for my appointment, apologized and sat down waiting for my name to be called. After the doctor (who I was booked in to see) called another name of someone who came in AFTER me, I walked up to reception to find out what was happening. I had been waiting for 30 minutes at this stage.
The receptionist had the gall to ask if I went to see them first when I came in, asking again 'did you? '. Horrible reception response in my opinion.

Update: I returned for my follow up appointment on Thursday 18th October. I feel like the last time I was here there must have been an misunderstanding because all was well and reception staff were very attentive. Dr Ting is very thorough and I will continue to get my 400 plus moles checked at the SunDoctors Hornsby.

Don't ever try to change your appointment. I have called three times over the last week and my call goes straight to a message, which tells me to make a booking on the website. So I go to the website and leave my name and number, which requests they call me. You guessed it - No call either! Most disappointing and frustrating Reception - if you can call them that.

While Dr Ting Chow is extremely professional, the reception staff are anything but. Off hand, unhelpful and too busy with their own conversation to acknowledge a waiting patient.

Clinic said they would call me, and after sitting by my phone all day and not receiving a single call I finally called back. Got told they called me and left a voicemail, and when I said I received no such thing I got told I was wrong and that it happened. Would be nice if they at least cared.

I have been attending this Clinic for many years and seeing the same Doctor, who is very good. After the very rude telephone manner of the receptionist on duty at 12.45pm today, I will never go to the SunDoctors Skin Cancer Clinic Hornsby again. Hopefully the Doctors at this practice read these reviews and take some action.
