Great place to go to for a special occasion. Great unique food and staff know their stuff. Enjoy!

Really wanted to like this place given the other reviews and overall rating but our meal was overly salted, and generally not good. Could only manage a couple bites of the fish curry, crispy chicken dish was mostly fried dough and overly sauced. Super friendly service but food fell completely flat. A real shame.

Best restaurant in Coogee. We went recently for my husbands birthday and everything was perfect. The service was exceptional as was the food. We were served by a lovely French lady can’t recall her name he she was amazing and accommodated to all our requested with a smile and without fuss. We will be back for sure and recommend to all our friends and family!

Everytime we come to Coogee we dine here. Last night was another fabulous experience, outstanding service, wine glass never empty, food delicious and great conversation

We came with high expectations based on a friends recommendation but we’re pretty disappointed

Food was average; very limited vegetarian options, service was hectic (all staff seemed rushed and very stretched) and we were seated near the toilets with let off a horrific stench every time the door opened.

Would not rush back to eat there again!

Wow! Go with the "trust me" menu. The food was great! Really recommend this place.

I am a coeliac and there was lots of gluten free options for me to try. The food was SO delicious.

Came here with my friends. We ordered dumplings as entree. Fish and crispy calamari as main courses for share.
The portion is good enough. It’s fushion thai.
The taste is good.
We sit outdoor but it’s covered well so it is nice and warm.

Great food (vegan for me), lovely wine, beautiful interior and absolutely outstanding service. 3 years in Australia and this was without a doubt my best restaurant experience. Warmly recommending.

Food was good but we asked for a table indoors and were told that it was fully booked. We left after an hour and the restaurant had even more available tables indoors.

Great service with very good dining environment. They have the indoor and outdoor seating. It was full house most of the time, do make reservations in advance.

The scallop with very nice light sauce is refreshing and sweet. The deep fried spring more with the spicy sauce on top was so good. The spicy sauce level up the taste so much.

Pad thai and salad at the sweet side which is quite authentic.

Wagyu beef reindent is tender and juicy.
Fried chicken is a must try dish, Crunchy skin coating and juicy inside.

Overall, it’s very nice fusion food la restaurant. Don’t miss it if you are around Coogee.

I made a reservation for my husband’s birthday and I asked for a table outside with a high chair and that is exactly what we got. The vegan menu has so many options and everything we tried was amazingly good! In top of that the services is excellent! Highly recommend it for any celebration

Went for dinner with my daughter at 5pm as the only other time available was 8.30pm and we wanted a reasonably early night. The reservation was for 1.5 hours which was NOT long enough. We had to leave by 6.30pm taking our unfinished bottle of wine with us. The next sitting was 6.30pm until 8pm and then 8pm until close. Three sittings is just the restaurant being greedy and having no consideration for their diners. Two sittings a night is far more reasonable as our bill was $340 so it's not a quick in and out place to eat. Very, very disappointing.

Our visit was at New Year's Eve, the second dinner service for what was an exceptionally busy night for the restaurant. As everyone has stepped outside to watch the 9pm fireworks the entire restaurant of diners returned and was seated at the same time and within minutes everyone has a cocktail and their first dishes. As I was introducing friends who were dining at sugarcane for the first time, I was a little concerned that given how busy the service was that night that standards might slip slightly, I couldn't have been more mistaken. Every dish was delicious, served promptly and presented with style and attention to detail. Our waiter was friendly, cheerful and attentive, despite this being the second service of the evening. My friends thought the Crispy Chicken with Blood Plum Sauce was incredible and I could have cheerfully eaten the entire serving plate of Red Beef Cheek Curry with Sweet Potato and Coconut Yoghurt myself.

It was the perfect way the start the new year and my friends who were visiting for the first time asked to speak to the manager to congratulate his staff for a really memorable and enjoyable meal. They have already booked to take other friends back this week. Highly recommended

The food is above expectations. Good wine menu, especially for by the glass. Service is friendly and fast. They are also very considerate of the needs of kids. We will be back:)

Delicious food and despite having a short window for the meal the staff were pleasantly prompt to make sure our meal wasn't rushed and we still had all our needs attended to. Thanks!

One of the best Thai restaurants in Sydney. Traditional flavours that honoured Thai cuisine and the dishes were on the table within a reasonably quick timeframe. They had a great selection of wines and the service was outstanding. It was so lovely to receive genuine hospitality, no QR codes, and friendly staff who you could engage with, this place is a gem!

I am sorry but I cannot give 5! And I have a good reason for that. We went with $75pp to get a good experience but first, it was not the value of money at all. Second the attention to details was not great; foods came with no specific order or appropriate time between them. Once three dishes came together and once we waited for more than 20 mins for one small one. And at the end no one told us it's finished! We just realised because no food came.
But the food quality and taste was good. Maybe we made a mistake to go for $75 pp.
I still give 4 which means I kinda liked the place.
