They always try and increase the price from the promised price on the wall. My partner was not able to get the car washed due to them saying they didn’t want to wash a dirty car and doubling the price. Guys that’s the point. I hope the owner reads this. If they weren’t almost straight across the toad I would not use this cat wash. It’s tiring having to have the same conversation with them
Every week or two for the last three years. Once they accept the wash, the result is usually decent. Feels a lot like when you bargain for sarongs in Bali as a tourist.

The car interior was not cleaned properly. There’s still build up of dust and dirt on the centre console that wasn’t wiped down at all.

Unfortunately my star car wash 20% off voucher was not valid despite being sent a text but the service was very good and they gave a filthy car a new lease of life

I was disappointed to find when I got home that the car doors jams, boot surrounds and guards hadn't been properly cleaned and wiped out. The wax had been applied over some tree resin on the car roof, no attempt had been made to chat to me to say extra work was required to remove it. (In fact I could remove it with a bit of extra elbow grease when I checked it at home!)
The boot cover had not been properly vacuumed.
In all I was very disappointed with the service.

I paid for an interior and exterior clean. After more than 90 minutes my car was returned with a dirty interior. When I pointed it out they asked what clean I had paid for (they should have known) then said their vacuums don’t clean floor mats & they only wipe down surfaces. So my car wasn’t vacuumed properly, left with dirt/rubbish in it. And they argued and made excuses rather than trying to correct it. Will never use again.

Poor quality wash. Especially when paying $115 +
Honestly get better car washes out of $50-$60 range elsewhere

It was a poor job. Why bother getting a Star polished when they leave so many easily removed dirt and marks. They just rub the duco no effort is actually put into remove marks that are easily taken off.
I had to show the guy what a poor job they did with lots of excuses.

$95 for a polish
Worth $35.as I re did the polish myself for an hour when I got home
Whoever owns this business should think about closing up and moving on

I dropped in a "new to me" Jeep for an interior clean.in fairness, it was very dirty and stained in the carpets, quoted 250 bucks for an interior clean.agreed and left it all day,
It was not ready and had not been worked on the several times I went back.eventually, collected it the next day. I was dismayed to see the glove box filthy inside, the ashtray full of cigarette buts and the sunvisors still covered in red dust. Nice fellas but terrible quality and poor value for money at the end of the day. I think my 250 bucks goes elsewhere next time!

Just the worst, been here a few times each time giving the benefit of the doubt, helping them out, 110$ for an unclean terrible result is a rip off, stay away, read the other reviews

I was bemused to get a text asking me if I was enjoying my newly cleaned car and requesting a review an hour and a half after I arrived at Star Wash, because I was still in the waiting room where I remained for another 50 minutes. Yes, it took 2 hours and 20 minutes. Granted it was a busy day for them but that’s still a long time. They did a pretty good job, I deducted a star because some of my interior windows weren’t cleaned and my alloys weren’t great either. And obviously a star for the wait time.

Gave them another chance today. Another bad experience. They always up sell you to a more expensive, unnecessary package. Verging on con-artists. I said I only want the outside cleaned, they quoted $50. When I collected the car, I queried this and was told that $50 is for interior and exterior. Lo and behold, interior was not cleaned but I was still charged $50. The man I spoke to knew exactly what he was doing.

As a part of the upsell he even asked me if I wanted the bird poo removed from the car.as if that would be extra.
