Star Car Wash - Manly

Got my interior detailed. They used so much water that five days later my car seats were still wet and began to sprout mould. I had to spend 3 hours re washing with vinegar to try kill all the green mould which appeared. $200 down the drain. I have tried to call to complain and no one will pick up the phone. I would take your business elsewhere.

Paid full price $350 for the “full detail”. Upon pick up I noticed the ceiling had marks all through it which I alerted the staff to be told “we don’t do that part” which is not stated on the website. Would assume full detail meant the entire car…. The outside of the car has been left so streaky I’ve had to take it to another detailer and pay twice to have it fixed. Looks worse than when it arrived

I organised a full detail as a surprise for my daughter who’s overseas.
Unfortunately, the overall good detail was ruined by the lack of attention to the marks on the bonnet from sap/tree droppings. I believe a simple cut and polish could have done the job, or a phone call notifying me of the unresolved problem. Nothing and I only noticed once I returned home. Very disappointed.

We paid for the premium service and the car looked like it was cleaned quickly without any attention to detail. They didn’t even clean the windows and the car was still dusty inside. Highly recommend to go somewhere else.

DO NOT WASH YOUR CAR HERE. Whilst they hand wash, they don't use fresh microfibre towels, and they scratched my new car (literally the only scratch on it). I'd assume a piece of grit on the towel. I took photos before it went in and found the scratch afterwards. When confronted, they apologised but offered nothing in the way of paying for the damage and even refused to give me a refund (to at least help for the damages). Edit: Just received a quote to fix thisscratch, as they have to remove and respray - $961.75

The usual 75% job today, that will be my last, I'll wash my car myself in future. I expected the attempted upsell, for polish etc, but trying to get and extra $20 to get some bugs off my bull bar? Please! On pick up there were still unwiped dirty areas on the hood, and inside. Overall dissappointing for $72, I won't be back!

Supposed to take 45mins to clean in and out but done after 20mins with the inside of the car still dirty and nothing wiped down. Not worth the high price of $73

Thank you to Nigem and his amazing team at Manly! Honestly the best car wash I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The friendliest staff and they did an amazing job of the car both inside and out. If I could give them 100 stars I would. Highly recommend. Both the sand and dog fur was completely gone. I couldn’t believe it knowing how hard it can be to get out. THANK YOU SO MUCH! You guys are awesome!

Paid $57 for a Platinum car wash, vacuum and wipe down of the interiors, the car was not vacuumed properly there was still sand, dirt and dog hair, I was told by the staff the vacuum doesn't include dog hair - this was not communicated, they also had not wiped clean the cup holder, he said that was also extra - really?
I have been getting my car washed here for years, after the service and the rudeness I will never return.

Waited almost 2 hours for my car to be washed and vacuumed. No urgency at all from the staff. Never again.

For $100 car clean, very disappointing. Dirt was visible around doors, the boot and side skirt of the car. Even some of the interior which was meant to be wiped wasn't done at all. Once I pointed it out, the team did the touch up, but it shouldn't be needed when you already paid for the extra. Would think more than twice coming here again.

Great place for car wash and relax in cafe. Free coffee and also provided by star car wash cafe.staff is very friendly.

I have never been happy with the job these guys do. They are pushy and never do what they are supposed to. Yesterday I had car cleaned and the mats in the back had not been vacuumed.

Please do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. Not only was the car not cleaned properly, but there were scratches and dents found on my car after taking it there. I have been to this car wash multiple times with several different cars. I have given them many opportunities to do a good job. Not once have I been satisfied with the service. Save yourself the trouble of getting repairs and go somewhere else.

Staff weren’t friendly at all.
Done a terrible job. Didn’t clean out the tray of my Ute and other parts of the vehicle. I paid for a full detail for $350
Carpets and seats saturated. Didn’t take seat covers off like they specified. Front seats still dirty.
Unsatisfied.
Will never go back there and do not recommend.

Hit and miss depending on where you go. Was at the Manly one yesterday and I was a miss. Roof racks and bike carrier have white polish on them (who polished roof racks, and if you did, surely you would wipe them down? !) and waited all afternoon for my call back to tell me it was ready, but never came. Walked up to find my car waiting at the front of the queue to be picked up. Was told they forgot to call but it had been ready for some time.

Great place to have your car washed very friendly people it was a great place but things have changed now no interior cleaning of windows or vacuum of booth and the friendly coffee gone it has lost it sole I could say a lot more no incentive to have my car cleaned again there the also had discounts for seniors gone
