70Great to visit again and find new idea's. Helpful staff and easy to browse the stall looking for inspiration.
Not sure if all the staff I spoke to were new but couldn't really find anyone with any knowledge in the arts and crafts section. Got vaguely steered in the right direction so at least they had a go. Friendly staff all around though, just lacking in the product knowledge side of things
No public toilet to be seen which if you're there for a long time choosing can be annoying, but good range and easier parking than the Newcastle store. Great range of "notions" and party equipment/supplies/costumes.
I love spotlight.i love browsing and checking out their beautiful little nik naks and specials.unfortunately.the ladies at the counter don my head in. I have actually put things back because i just didnt have the time to wait.
They are so bloody slow.it seems they aren't interested in being there. They scan my items and put them on the counter. Then at the end, grab a bag and put goods in a bag. Its such a painful process.
And please get some toilets
It's a Spotlight. That should tell you what to expect. There's basically no staff, the few that are there don't really know what they're doing and aren't really helpful. You can buy some stuff, but only sometimes the stuff you actually want. A lot of it is cheap, some of it is overpriced, and almost all of it is low quality. It's a Spotlight, no better, but no worse, than any other.
Prices are sometimes a little high comparatively however, staff are helpful and knowledgeable and range is extensive.
Basically the equivalent of Bunnies for all things manchester, linen, crochet, sewing, parties, artsy etc. A large range of materials, helium balloons and decorations for your humble abode.
Spotlight, you complete me. I'd love it if you had some more staff on the floor of the fabric department, but that's just nitpicking.
Got dragged round following my wife. Amazing assortment of Hobby things etc. Big Store. May need updating.
