Spotlight Coffs Harbour

Well Black Friday was very busy, and got what I wanted but no price just 40% off! What price! There were products everywhere and less room to move around, more like a jumble sale. It was not enjoyable shopping to look for a particular item more so if you don't shop there on a regular basis.

Great store lots of fabrics and other things eg pots pans kitchen accessories Halloween outfits and decorations a good to look what's on special and sale

Just went into spotlight Coffs Harbour. As a regular I’m pretty adjusted to the somewhat less than stella experience at the material counter, don’t get me wrong there are some absolute gems that work in this area such as the lady with the short dark hair and glasses and the red head with the septum piercing however (and I apologies for never posting a great review on them before but I will) however I was lined up to be served by Steph who was with a customer (was there after I was but I moved away so I was happy to wait) she showed this customer where the product she was looking for (so far fine) then whilst at another location got another customer question then proceeded to price 5 different materials for this 2nd customer instead of radioing and asking for help, she said to me “won’t be long” but again walked off with the customer before FINALLY radioing someone else to come. By this point there were two other customers behind me lined up. As a retail worker who KNOWS all about priority calls and basic human niceties I think it’s disgusting that I have been coming to this store all my life and nothing has ever changed. There is a way of serving that is efficient and courteous so as not to waste not only the customers time but that of the companies. I would suggest a team meeting to discuss the priorities that align with your values and what QUALITY customer service looks like. I will continue from this point forward posting all my spotlight experiences so that something actually changes. There is enough eager people lining up to work at spotlight so I would suggest not taking your company/ your job for granted. Enough is enough. Also shout out to the lady who makes the announcements. If she could head the customer service meeting that would make me very happy. She is an absolute gem.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Great variety of craft items and materials. Great kids costumes.

EXTREMELY slow service. About 4 staff members saw me waiting to pay for material and said 'be there in a minute' Too long a wait

Spotlight has most items I need to complete my projects, whether they be sewing or projects for my children's school projects.

If you want anything at Spotlight Coffs Harbour find Bec - she has such a good handle on all products, she is so professional and so knowledgeable but the best thing is she had a wonderful, bright personality and absolutely nothing is to much trouble, she was busy and went so far out of her way to assist us it was incredible. We were so thankful and so appreciative of her assistance. Please let me know what days you work because these are the only days I am shopping at Spotlight. Thank you Bec.

It is spotlight, my husband sits in the car and I just wander around getting what I need, planning future projects and wishing they had more natural fabrics

I like this store, it's a really good place to check out, if you need some of these types of products. Curtains and blinds, bedding pillows towels cushions, craft and art supplies, mats rugs and much much more. Is right next to Homebase you can't miss it, has plenty of parking is on ground level, wheelchair accessible, good customer service.

Thank you to all the team at spotlight involved in our recent curtain installation. Very professional, timely and communication was really good. We only waited about 8 weeks, but it was worth it. Special Thanks to Fiona and Bruce.
I Recommend spotlight, this is the 3rd property that I have utilised spotlights services and curtains.

Ordered a roller blind back on the 7th of December and was told it could arrive before Christmas. Its the 16th of April and still hasnt shown up. Called numerous time to enquire and always get "yea it still hasnt arrived". Asked them to call supplier and they said they aren't able to. Asked about what options I have and they eventually said you can keep waiting or we can refund the item. Fairly disappointing resolution as I could have done this 4 months ago and had a blind.

Never get staff that knows stock or where it is.
Seems a universal problem at Coffs Spotlights.
Only go there after searching the website then virtually force the staff to find the stock.
Last two visits were typical. Staff no we don't have that item.
Well it shows on website?
Staff: Well go to the furthest cornor of the shop.
No eventually found them tucked away behind other items.

Asked twice for help to get product from really high place in kitchen section Waited 25 minutes without assistance so walked out of store

Staff are all super helpful and very knowledgeable, will usually find what I need for a project before I've worked out what it is.

Ok. I asked a girl for assistance as I was after a small craft item (googly eyes), and this place has so much.straight there and done.loved it

Awesome staff and great sales, saved $200 on 5 sets of curtains during their 50% sale.

Wish people wouldn't make a mess of the cushion and rug isles though. C'mon guys.

Usually enjoy my time here but disappointed with lack of stock, obviously due to Covid delivery issues
