Was very happy with the costomer service at the Penrith store. Taya was amazing she knew i was very nervous and spoke to me the hole way threw the procedure. Couldnt thank her enough for keeping me calm.

I came in and I wanted a septum piercing. Spirit who had done piercing had to pierce me twice. The second time she did it free hand because she couldn’t get the clamp in. After she was done and I got up to check in the mirror I noticed that it was lopsided and crooked. She immediately got defensive and started fiddling with my nose. She grabbed another piercer in the room to check and that’s when it got really unprofessional. Tiarni came in and started checking as well and Tiarni explained to me that this was “normal” and it was because I have “asiany” features. She went on to explain other reasons which I honestly felt were just excuses. I’ve had my septum piercing done twice in the past when I was a teenager with skin candy but at another franchise/location. Never once was I disrespected like that. Never once did I have an issue with getting my piercing done regardless of my race, regardless of the features I have. Both piercers were obviously not professionals. Not only did I walk out disappointed but I felt embarrassed and disgusted with how they handled the situation. They tried offering me a free piercing which I refused and free jewellery which I also refused. Tiarni gave me a card for a free pierce and they didn’t charge me that day but I would never recommend Skin Candy again at least not Skin Candy Penrith or those 2 piercers.

Edit: I decided not to keep the piercing after they basically blamed me for the lopsided and crooked piercing. That’s why they offered a free piercing and free jewellery as a courtesy. Spirit was nice at the end and helped me with the bleeding but I just couldn’t get my head around how rude they were about it.

After having to reschedule (from head office) which was a tad annoying, I had Brady pierce me. I was terrified but was in excellent hands. He put me at ease and was super professional and personable. I highly recommend the penrith store. Spirit is also very lovely.

I got pierced today by Lea, who was absolutely lovely! She made me feel super comfortable and answered all my questions with ease, definitely helping my nerves and talking through everything she was doing. My piercings are nice and straight, and she took great care to be gentle. Everything is clean and professional. All the staff members here have been friendly and helpful with all my enquiries, any purchases and bookings/piercings. I'm already looking forward to coming back for my next piercing. I have been to the penrith store twice and I have walked away very happy with my piercings. Bec and Lea are just amazing! Very knowledgeable and really take their time with you, even though I was not nervous as I have had many piercings before, they have such a friendly and calm manner it would honestly put anyone that is nervous at ease. I got my helix and conch done today by bec and I just love them! The whole process was easy, everything was explained to me and any questions I asked was answered without hesitation, would recommend to everyone to go here

The people working here are very real and genuine; they are very professional and incredibly sanitary whenever I go.

The jewellery that I buy from here is very pretty but it never lasts long and it’s expensive so it should be lasting me awhile, I also came in here to get my daith jewellery changed and the boy who did it didn’t put it in properly and now it’s growing out and when I came back to ask if they could fix it and if they couldn’t to just remove it because it’s painful and I can’t do it myself, and they told me I needed to make an appointment and turned me away, I also came to get a dermal by them and the hole she made was way too big for the piercing, it never healed and she also messed up my other dermal piercing I had gotten done 3 years prior by someone else, by touching it and fiddling with it, this place is unprofessional and rude.

I never usually leave reviews but went in to Skin Kandy this morning to get a rook & a daith piercing and I was so impressed by the staff there that I felt the need to write a review. Kara did an amazing job with both piercings and was so lovely, helpful and accomodating & Ben was honestly just one of the most delightful humans I have ever come into contact with. The whole experience was great & I couldn’t recommend them enough:) I’ll be back!

Benny pierced my tragus and the flat of my ear. He did so well and was making the process a-lot easier and really managed to make me laugh and calm down. He kept me informed the whole time and let me know when he was putting the needle in - of course also sharing my excitement for my new bedazzled ears. Overall great person to have to pierce you and help make the experience a-lot better! Thanks Benny <3 xx
