The staff were great, LUCAS was very helpful, but when it came to delivery it all fell apart, I requested on the delivery day after 2pm the driver rang at 10 couldn't come back, he sent message Friday after 5 my wife waiting at home ring the driver no delivery "you sort it out with the shop"? Incompetent uncaring useless driver.never again.

Lacking in charity. The guy that worked there laughed at me when I asked if there were discounts for concession holders.

Massive space filled with cheap bits of everything, clothing, furniture, home wares & electrical.bit thin on staff but they are volunteers I guess, when ya do find a staff member there a fountain ️ of information. Bad parking, difficult to find a spot close to the store, although it's a top store.

Big store could do with bigger parking IF they had the room. It'd be nice for it to be easier to drive to there from Ikea Tempe. The staff are great, there's alot of bridal dresses and brides maid dresses there at the moment.

It's been picked pretty bare. Hard to find clothes when most of the racks are filled with 30 of the same shirt. Wish they would stop accepting donations like this.

Pretty overpriced for an op shop in my opinion. You can find better prices elsewhere. Other salvos I visited were priced better too.

The best second-hand store that I’ve tried in sydney (for clothing). Don’t bother with the over-priced spots in Newtown, this place is massive with decent pricing and I almost always find exactly what I need here.

Been coming here for about 7 years.
Cannot believe what has happened to the place, the prices are actually jaw dropping.
Faded, saggy Kmart Pajama onesie - $18
Plain Zara heels $30
Women’s lace underwear $20 a pair
(Just to give you an idea)
Anything that is vaguely interesting or not actually mouldy/ from miller’s is put in their “boutique” section. Even like random non designer brands like country road, seed, Levi’s, Gorman, portmans etc is all put there and jacked up in price. There’s essentially nothing there for most people. Even the jewellery is now all locked up if it’s anything decent. It’s no longer about “finding treasure” it’s about “I might find a semi decent T-shirt for $8 if I’m really lucky” all of the fun and bargains that a second hand store is meant to have is not here anymore! Last time I went, about 2 weeks ago, about 30% of the racks were filled with deadstock landfill party tops. The exact same top in the same size, but an entire 5 metre row of it. Then the same thing with pants and dresses, and it’s all vile quality that would set ablaze if you went anywhere near a heat source. This place is so depressing, and what’s even sadder is that it’s the largest thrift store close to the city, and it’s being used for this. An evil, scalping, greedy business masquerading as a “charity. ” Disgusting.

One of the biggest Salves stores in Sydney. Some fantastic stuff. Sometimes a little bit pricey but still value for money.

The books at this store were far too expensive compared to other salvos stores. I found the cookbook 'Nigella Feast' for $12.00, Salvos Rockdale 8-10 minutes down the road had the same cookbook for only $4.00 and in Excellent condition than the one in Tempe. I will definetely not return to the Tempe store as even the other items such as furniture, records, toys etc were way above market price. I hope a mystery shopper from the Dept of Trading visits one day and fines you big time.

Prices ensure poor will continue to look poor. Used to like coming here but now I leave empty handed.

Former fashion retail staff must be pricing the clothing as though everybody is in full time employment. Customers visiting Salvos are actually having difficulties making ends meet but still need to look presentable.

Please don't price goods as though people are just coming here as a hobby. They need reasonable clothes but cannot afford them in regular retail shops.

This shop thinks they are reselling purchased items when it is all donated free. Was looking in there collectibles/electronic section and they has signs "items sold as is no returns" yet they have full RRP or higher prices on them lol. If they want to overprice everything than they should at least confirm the electronics work 100% or have all accessories with it. Very expensive clothing too. Will never donate to these greedy people.

Large warehouse. Popular even on weekday. Large range of furnitures which take over much of the floor space. Great place for second handed furnitures. Prices are great if they are on sale.

Small selection of vinyl records. More of DVDs and cds. Vintage cassettes are $4.

Discount voucher is to be used with coloured tickets only, not white ticket.

A bit tricky to get there by public transport. Less walking if catching bus from Newtown.

Disgusting attitude from Manager Tom today, zero customer service skills.
My feedback was that it’s is very hard to find something that barely fits my body type and today I found something but it was $30!
Who is coming up with this prices? $25 - $30 for a jacket that’s is ok but not flawless.
I showed him that one of the jackets they were selling was absolute trash and they still wanted $25
He said that’s not the one you want so there is not point to talk about that… I said my point is the pricing! Who’s is coming up with this prices?

We come to Salvos to buy second hand clothes that were given for free to “charity” why does it have to be so expensive?
He said:
Because It’s a brand.
Well in my opinion That’s actually a very unfair way of pricing things…
That’s was actually a Lowes blazer that probably cost $10 more brand new.
His answer: people doing the pricing here know what their doing they been doing it for years.if you can buy it in Lowes for $10 more why you come here?
You don’t have to buy it if you are not happy with the price is not my problem there are no discounts for that price color tag today.
He turned around and walked away on me.
Who is hiring this “managers” At Salvation Army?

Very overpriced for a thrift store.
It’s cheaper going to IKEA next door than shopping second hand here. Reassessment of your pricing is needed! So much stuff getting tossed outback, have a freebies table for people to take from! Stop wasting!

Very efficient drop off centre. From the entrance, follow the signs to the drop off point. Big plastic tubs located in front of warehouse loading dock for small items such as toys, clothes, books and other household items. Staff is stationed there to assist.

Located behind The Good Guys.

Who is the young woman with long curly blonde hair and glasses who works here? She is AWFUL. So rude, so condescending. I am genuinely startled by the interaction I had with her. Her behaviour really needs to be addressed.

Also, this is the most expensive salvos I’ve been to in my life. It’s really sad to see. Laughable prices.

This place used to be a bargain. Now its crowded and over priced. Sony radio as seen in photo sells for less brand new.

The absolute worse customer service from “Store manager" Ashley. Terrible, rude, condescending. She has no right to be representing the store that meant to be there to help people! She has no common sense and she believes there is absolutely no one higher than her in the whole Salvation Army company.
Please, give her some training on how to deal with customers and not treat them like they mean NOTHING; many people that they come to your store have no other options!
