Normally I don't answer unknown numbers but this day, perfect timing.
I needed a new managing agent and a call from Emma was the best luck for me. Everything from that point was seamless.
Emma was patient with my timeline and has made everything flow.

We have rented a property with with Richardson Wrench for three years. Our Property Manager, Jane Yazbek has been exemplary every time we have needed anything. She is quick to respond, professional, friendly and has helped us make huge improvements to our rental property, as a result we have signed for our 4th year. After an initial issue with the first open house viewing I provided feedback to Emma. The team responded in a very professional manner and there were I am pleased to say no further concerns. They have since meet my full expectations, I would be happy to recommend R&W to anyone seeking a leasing agent to handle their Inner West property

The whole experience renting through R&W Hurlstone Park was incredibly upsetting.
I have never encountered an agent (Jane) so unprofessional, especially when ending the tenancy.
Upon moving in we noticed mould growing on the blinds and around the window frame in the bedroom. The agent called a cleaner to wipe it off with mould spray. All was fine for a few months, until mould started growing in patches all over the ceiling directly above our bed. I am at home all day and had the windows open where possible, but it still kept spreading. It was a nightmare.
When I reported this, the agent told me it was now our responsibility to either have the fan or air conditioner (in the living room) going 24/7, or to buy a dehumidifier machine (!)
We finally just decided to move out after the mould spread to my toddler's room, and we realised nothing would be done.
The worst part of the situation, was after 1 month of us ending our tenancy and moving out (the bond refund had been finalised), we got money removed from our account for a bent blind. This is completely illegal.
I called the agent and she went on a tirade about a damaged blind worth $80 and said I was 'barking at her'. I was so shocked.
Not only were they illegally removing money from our account, but she was was using this kind of language with a former tenant.

I am not sure if this money was removed because the agent is so inexperienced that she doesn't know the law, or she was just trying one more method to get money from us, hoping we wouldn't notice. Either way, she shouldn't be in this job.

Know your rights and keep everything in writing with this agency. Or just avoid them altogether.

I have rented my place out after living there for many years.

R and W Hurlstone Park are professional and responsive.

The unit has been tenanted from before Covid-19 crisis until now.

I’m the landlord. They can’t even give me half decent service! When called out about it, they try and turn it on you in writing no less. Truely unbelievable. Beware all! Switched agencies and things are what they should be. Strongly opine everyone else does same.

I've rented a cottage house in Marrickville for 2 years now. The same real estate company looks after me for the entire period. During the covid period it was a bit bumpy with communication, but since I got Jane Yasbek as responsible communication at the other end, a lot has changed.it's amazing how Jane Yasbek supports us.the cute little house was a little shabby but scrap by step we brought it into shape together.whether fence assembly or even a new dishwasher.all sorts of sealing and paint repairs. Jane Yasbek helped us to solve the problems very quickly. Thanks a lot for this.

Buying was a breeze- and a laugh!
I'm a first home buyer, with limited experience when it comes to the housing market. I found Richard Perry really personable and very transparent. One of the pitfalls when it comes to not having industry knowledge, is the possibility that you wouldn't get fair information.

I had none of that with Richard, if anything, he went above and beyond when it came to granting me access to the property, appraising the area and making me comfortable with my purchase.

I'd recommend him

PS. He's also quite funny, be prepared to have his jokes interrupt your serious "buying contemplation"
