This was our first visit here. Very impressed with the easy onsite parking and the golf cart that takes people from the carpark to the viewing area. It was on Melbourne Cup day and we had a lot of fun.

1860 - Royal Randwick is the historic home of thoroughbred racing in Sydney. Established in 1860, it is Australia’s longest standing horse racing venue.

Hosting The Everest with prize money of $15 million, it is the richest race in Australia and the richest turf race in the world. It is held in October as the feature race of the Sydney Spring Carnival.

Always good attending the races some restrictions with covid 19 but overall a good day out. They still need to improve on the food options available in the members part of the Triple Crown lawn area my opinion.nicer food at the top level of QE2 stand in the members

City Tatts Race day is the best. I had a wonderful time. The crew was excellent and the organisation of the event was flawless. Thanks for the caterers.

Just one word: "Magnificent". Great place, great atmosphere, you can find tasty food here also.
Another special memory of mine is the final semester examinations were organized here. Before travelling to Sydney, I had never imagined that I had to do my exam inside a horse racecourse: -D Oh, how I miss those days

I love coming to Royal Randwick Racecourse when the horse race is on!
It can get super busy but definitely a great time they have a few great bars staff sometimes can be a bit rude which can be very annoying sometimes.

Enjoy going there. Members stand is rubbish. No cover whatsoever and only about 12 rows of seats. Impossible on a big day. Otherwise good facilities!

Was having a lovely day, just for it to be spoilt by the cleaners taking 3 full glasses of wine and beer, plus our race cards and papers while we were outside watching the penultimate race, even though we had left our jackets on the chairs. This is not the first time this has happened. Put a dampner on the day

PROS: The facilities, track, quality of venue combined with location are all positives.

CONS: Transport from the races - ad hoc closures of key areas, poor coordination, police ticketing vehicles, food and drink pricing and varieties are below par (invest in more types of beers!)

Always a great day out here espcially if you have a little cash to have a flutter. Get dressed up and try and find a way to reserve a spot in the grand stand.

Royal Randwick is the jewel in the crown of Sydney racing. A theatre of sport, culture, fashion and cuisine, racing’s premier playground will entertain you with the extraordinary. Situated minutes from the CBD and in close proximity to the airport, Royal Randwick has been a part of Australian culture for 150 years.

Finally found a place away from the crowds where we could sit down and relax. For the amount of people the venue managed the crowds well

Exceptional venue, intoxicating atmosphere; that's why it's a must to share with good friends & family. That's why I'm a proud Member.

Most of the staff were nice. Though it didnt appear to be any consistent communication when checking in and what's available and who said what, etc. I dont know if you have a team meeting before an event but it may need to be considered.
Parking is unclear. It's not very pram friendly. Lift was broken in a car park and we couldnt use stairs.
Also.website says kid play area in FAQ. Couldnt find one anywhere.not much shaded areas.
Unsure when entertainment was on.
Though it was a classy races. The only thing that really got it any stars.
No point going unless you have a horse in the races, betting or drinking.
Also surprised there was no bag searching.

It was good but not that great! It was our first time at horse racing place. Food was terrible and expensive inside. Especially in the third floor. We also took coffee at the entrance, which was nightmare for us.

My 1st time here. It was a great experience.
You need to dress up or down depending on which group and entrance you are in.
Safe place, with many guards in cluding police patrolling the grounds.

Had a great day. Paid $99 for stands but Food was very poor. Tiny little area that had sausage rolls chips. There was 6 of us and could only buy 2 drinks at a time.

Great place of Australian history. A foundation of Australian past time and still has reputable bar and food. Pretty pricy but worth it for a nice day out.
