I'd never buy a VW in Australia. It seems that Aussie market is not important for VW. Finance process particularly is pretty bad in here.
I recently heard that a friend of mine's finance application got rejected because he was a contractor in his company. Half of the ICT people in Sydney is contractor and get daily rates. Regardless of what your income is, your application might get rejected because their system in Australia is pretty primitive.

More like Rockbottom. Dodgy sales tactics and zero customer service. When we arrived to purchase a car at a price agreed with the sales consultant, she told us the price wouldn't be honoured by the Sales Manager who was in her office 'too busy' to talk to us. The Manager called later and denied knowledge of the agreed price, blaming her junior staff! Meanwhile, her sales consultant confided that it was the 'company policy' to agree to a price, get people in and up it later. These guys seriously give car salespeople a bad rep!

William was excellent. He gave me a great deal and kept fully informed at every stage of the process. His product knowledge is fantastic and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him/ them again. A very smooth transaction.

I bought the car Tiguan from Rockdale VW and always did service there for more than 4years. And also we had the Polo too. We always put the two cars service at Rockdale VW. I think we are very loyal customer. But Recently I had VERY bad experience with them. I did 75,000 kilo service and paid $45 for the loan car according to the new rules which used to be free for 4 years. The girl, Ellie who is trainee rang me to ask the permission to change the oil limp lids and cool bottle stained. I said to change it. But she said unfortunately the parts not ready. We have to arrange another time. That means I have to arrange my time and not only pay the part $350.00 to be changed and also pay another $45 for the loan car according to the rules. Likely I rang VW Sutherland, They friendly arranged the service time and provided the FREE loan car. Today I dropped my car in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. The MOST important is that is all FREE FREEE FREEE. Scott told me it is still under the wanranty. Wowwwwww VW Rockdale is strongly suggest not to go for ANY Businese.

I went with my partner to Sutherland Volkswagen and was very disappointed with the service. After being welcomed by Ben Ross at Rockdale he completely changed our view. He was kind, honest, helpful and he looked after us. Couldn’t recommend him and the rest of the team highly enough. Thanks for the new car!

Got a great deal on a Tiguan in Feb 2019. Morgan Rae was our salesperson and he went above and beyond to ensure we picked the right car for our needs, and provided excellent after sales service - a refreshing change from our previous experiences with major purchases when the sales person is only interested in making a quick sale. Have never owned a VW before, but have no regrets with our purchase. Would definitely recommend Morgan and the team at VW Volkswagen if you’re in the market for a great car.

Had my 30k GTI service here. Initial impression was good upon drop off. But when I went to pick up, the paperwork wasn't ready, so wasted 20 mins waiting for this to be finalised. Overall not bad though.

Had both Matt and Morgan show me around the car and explain all the features to be. Both were very helpful and highly recommend them.

Morgan showed me all details of the car and explained to me in detail everything that I need to know as well as gave me very handy driving tips that I will be able to use in the future. Thanks heaps Morgan! Highly recommended:)

My finance application got rejected last year, then I got A200.
No idea why they put finance billboards everywhere but can’t sell enough VW in this country.
I think VW are doing their worst job in Australia because of its weak dealer network.

We had looked at several VW dealerships around Sydney and none of them provided the professional, friendly and genuine service that Abby and her team provided us. I have purchased several new cars in the past few years and this truely was the easiest and best service (exceeding that of Mercedes and BMW). Couldn't recommend Abby more, Thankyou!

They can't even fix the brand which they are selling. Please don't spend your time and money with them.
