Ray White Castle Hill

Bought a house in an auction by Raywhite. Supposedly a big moment in one's life. But the way they handed over the keys at their reception was unexpected and very disappointing. A sad bunch of keys, not even the complete set, with a smile saying 'oh I don't know which one, I am sure you will figure it out'! They could not have the previous owners remove their belongings from the property as per the contract. Settlement day was stressful. Signage was left on the property for a very long time, and was removed only recently after a reminder.
Fizzled out an otherwise good experience of dealing with them.

Absolutely horrible experience! After moving out of a rental and awaiting an invite to the outgoing inspection without notice Tony Yee withheld my full bond. I applied at tribunal and after weeks of going back and forth it’s taken the owner contacting me directly to say there are no issues with the way the property was left the issues were with the agent. Now the owner has told the agent to release my bond and I am still waiting for Tony to send a simple message to RBO to release my bond.

These guys were so unprofessional when trying to buy a house. We made offers on a house within a week of viewing it, a house which had been on the market for 150 days but for us looked perfect. We were told that we basically had the house if we offered $3000 more which we agreed to. The real estate agent told us it was ours and he was going to send the paperwork through when he got back to the office.

The next day, the real estate agent didn't even bother calling but sent a text to my partner claiming they had a "last minute offer" at 11pm last night and his colleague "sold the place out from under him". Of course my partner called straight away and every excuse/lie under the sun came out. The real estate agent refused to tell him the selling price so we couldn't make another offer.

Now the sold price is online and it is less than what our maximum offer would have been. How ridiculous. I feel sorry for the seller that their real estate agent didn't get the best possible price they could for them! The way this was handled was extremely unprofessional!
