Good and bad. Bought a house through these guys a few months ago.
The good, the girls we dealt with were great (Alex in particular). Prompt and on time with open houses, inspections etc. No feeling of rushing or being ferried around.
Communication with PRD was always responsive.

The bad.
We had a building and pest inspection completed and was put onto a local company PRD 'use all the time' and as nominated by Reece Thompson from PRD. Against my better judgement (normally get a genuine third party in) went with 'NWH Pest and building'. In and out very quickly with very low attention to detail or customer service ability to obtain satisfaction. Avoid. First version of report received was very cookie cutter, so much in fact it had pictures from a different property in it! Provided substantial feedback and version 2 was received with further incorrect or not enough detail. Version 3 was slightly better and accepted as this would be the best i would get for $500. Upon moving in substantial number of items found that should be in the report (mould from leaking gutters, downpipes visibly leaking/discolored, damage to windows/floor, roof sarking not present or falling in spots, doors not shutting properly - a long list etc etc. Would recommend PRD not use this business or advise him to clients (maybe it is a friend or some kick back scheme, who knows).

Else no other issues, no real followup after the sale once keys obtained that was it.

Our whole process dealing with Ryan has been a breeze! Everything was made clear and so easy. Ryan was really helpful in guiding us through the whole process, even putting us in touch with conveyancors and brokers as we needed. Great communication of what was happening also. Even managed to get $20,000 above market value! Could not recommend highly enough!

Be careful if you’re buying a property with this agency. My son had an offer accepted on one of their listings. Had preapproval, inspections done and waiting for valuation within a week. Meanwhile agent did another open house and accepted a small but better offer.

Reece and his team have been outstanding in the service provided in preparing, listing, and selling our property. Their personal service makes you, as a client, feel valued and important. Reece has worked with us every step of the way, listening too and addressing our concerns, keeping us informed, and providing professional advise and guidance when required. We could not fault the service and performance of Reece and his team.

We went into this experience with trepidation as we were selling a beloved family home. However, Nick made everything much more bearable, with his communication, professionalism and knowledge of the area. We will be forever grateful!

As a landlord and renter, I would not reccomend this agency for property management. I recently rented a property through this agency and experienced unethical practices and next-level incompetence.

Can't respond to tenants in a timely manner, agents decide to take leave without finalising things in the office and simple things are made overly complicated.

I have rented through PRD Hunter Valley for 3 years now, the property managers are friendly, efficient and have solved any issues I've had in the same day! Keep up the great work guys!

Bought a house through prd hunter valley pleasant experience. The admin team made everything a breeze. Highly recomend.

They obviously have trouble reading, as I am constantly finding advertising material from this firm in my letterbox even though there is a clear message which states No Junk Mail.

My experience with PRD hunter valley was great! I’d been looking for a rental for months and when I called the receptionist was so lovely and helpful. The team made ends meet to find me and my partner a pet friendly house. I will definitely be renting through PRD again and will be the first place I look when I go to buy! Highly recommend
