Petersham Park reviews
54The park is nice and specious. There is a separate children's play area as well as barbecue facilities. Unfortunately, the children's play area gets occupied by fitness trainers who specifically conduct classes for adults in the children's area. Also, quite a number of people in the park are unfriendly and have thir cliques, specifically, if you are not having fair skin
Great local park for family and kids. BBQ's facility available and the pool is so close in summer. Great spot to hang out.
Always peaceful. They have a sports ground where they play baseball and other games. Good pool, recently upgraded.
Beautiful park with a nice pool and outdoor caffee! Games are in great condition and there are games for little and big kids. Highly recommend it.
Really good community pool with areas for kids. Would benefit from slides or a water play structure. Play park is awesome with equipment for all ages. Grand oval provides a lovely place to watch cricket.
A wonderful community park, with lots of space for old and young to relax and play as well as a very pleasant cafe for when you are finished. The oval is well kept and the path around it makes for a good running track. It is surprisingly quiet given how close it is to Parramatta Road.
Quite literally.one of the best parks around the area. Family friendly, pool close by, dog friendly, baseball games on weekends in the winter, cricket games in the summer. Tucked just far away from paramatta road to not be noisy. There's a little book exchange as well. What else could you want from a park? Give it a visit if your around or nearby. Would not be disappointed.
One of the best public open spaces had quite a few birthdays and get togethers in the well used covered spaces along with seeing the fireworks from the local bowling club within the boundaries of the park love it great memories.
Nice big oval, green picnic spaces, and children's play area, conveniently located off Parramatta Rd - but feels much more secluded and there is no traffic noise. There's also a 25m pool in the aquatic centre. This is only open during summer months.
Nice little park but don't really have much for older kids.equipment to small.and not enough way to many people. I thought they had renovated! But not good enough.
It gets a 5 when the coffee shop is open.
The pool was open. It was a really great design when it was originally constructed.
People love this park!
It hosts kids birthday parties, evening sport with music and plenty of family outings
Very cute gazebo/rotunda. Respectable size but intimate.kids under5 playground.dogs. Cute lil kiosk cafe thing.
Went to the pool. Nice but no restrictions on kids ages in wading pool, so the bigger kids (8+) were running around amongst the toddlers.
Great for kids of all ages, it's my favourite park in the neighbourhood. It's got plenty of shade and fun rides.
