51So so so bad. Potentially the worst customer service ever. Why is this place still in business and the same woman still employed? She is so poorly equiped to be in customer service.
Frustrating. I emailed them a few files for me to print out in advance, and the service was a bit slow. I explained that I needed these documents printed in black and white a few times. I get two documents copied twice, and I was still charged for them - the extra sets. I still need two other documents from this batch printed out. Hassle. Go to the city instead. Paying cash, they also messed with my change.
Sure there were some excavation works going on outside, where it was quite noisy inside, but still.
Seriously the staff members deserved to be sacked! They were late opening by 30 min this morning, people were waiting outside. Then with no help at all while I struggle with printing and asked multiple times for help. But much too busy on their phones.
The staff here could hardly be more incompetent or ruder. I would certainly never visit this store again.
There’s no cooperation I hate more on this earth than officeworks, but unfortunately due to the uni degree I have chosen I am forced to go there quite regularly for stationary/art supplies and printing. I thought Glebe officeworks was terrible (used to live over there), but somehow we’ve reached a new low here in North Sydney. This tiny little shop is a complete waste of space. There’s the absolute bare minimum when it comes to actual stock and the staff are unhelpful and have no idea what they’re doing. In a suburb that has so much going on and so many schools and students it has the potential to cater to, it’s pretty pathetic how terrible this store is. I’m sure they’ve lost a lot of customers because of this and now they’ve lost another one. From now on I am doing whatever I can to stay away from here. Bye!
The WORST customer service! Especially one girl who works at the checkout regularly currently - unaware of how to do anything or answer any questions, but instead of checking with others she just tells you it can’t be done. She also lets you stand there for ages before even considering serving you, and every time just says the machine you need is not working. Not coming back to this store.
We went to the Office works at North Sydney today and spent a considerable amount of money, but were not helped at all by the bad service the staff choose to either pretend not to hear or completely ignore customers
If the store has any management, they need to manage their staff, they are the worst staff we have had to deal with in a long time.
It's obvious they do not want to give service, if that's the case they should not and do not deserve to be in the service industry.
Had the worst experience at this Officeworks. I bought something, came home, opened it and realised that I bought the wrong product. 5 minutes later, I went back to the store and they completely denied my refund saying that the product is damaged and that I should've checked the packaging before buying. I tried to fight my case but the manager didn't give me the refund. It was ridiculous since the product was in resaleable condition and met the terms of their return policy.
The next day, I went the Officeworks Liverpool and they gave me my refund with no questions asked. I was very happy with their service.
I am absolutely baffled at this North Sydney branch and will never visit and buy their products ever again. Terrible, terrible staff.
I have been to the store a couple of times and the staff is helpless and rude. I think that's the worst Officeworks I have ever been to, and definitely won't ever go again.
Profoundly disorganised. Lost click and collect and seem to move back forth a lot without fully serving customers.
Terrible customer service. Thought I would give it another chance after my first bad experience. Every time I go there I end up getting served by the same terribly rude sales person. Many times she has told me "no your order is not here" when I have had a text saying it is ready to be collected. After minutes of angrily searching behind the counter she eventually finds it. Always rude. Always unpleasant.
Rude staff who didn’t listen to instructions on printing twice, no order or direction with queues which caused even more issues.
I had an awful experience trying to get in contact with the Officeworks head office (who totally ignored my email, over a month later I still haven't got a reply) but one of the guys at the Nth Sydney Branch was very polite and friendly despite a difficult enquiry.
Johanna was such a rude aggressive arrogant customer assistant. I have never had such a bad experience to be honest. I was asking help and all she could say was ignore it and blame it on me. Her all answer to my question was NO and I asked help with other guy name abhi and he was so helpful and helped me with all my questions so politely. She is literally nightmare to customer service job.
Awful service. I had a problem with the printer and the staff couldn't care less. A very arrogant lady came to pretend she was trying to help and said it was my fault that my file was too big to be printed. I was charged and couldn't have my documents printed. I intend to sue this horrible place.
The whole time I was at self serve, printing and cashier staff seemed to be on edge and arguing with each other. Later I needed further assistance with my printing at the counter. The person serving me went on her break (or home) while I was waiting for my print order. Which is completely cool, but she didn't seem to notify anyone else that she started a printing job, so I stood waiting for a long time for 1 small photo print. I eventually decided to ask someone about it. They looked confused and went to check it. They came back and said it's on it's way. I waited a bit longer. I eventually approached to ask again. The same person went to check again then came back and asked for my receipt (which the lady took from me, but they found it eventually). They then asked for a colleague's help. Overhearing their exchange, they both weren't trained to do printing and all the printing team members were on break. The person came back to tell me the printer for the size I ordered was broken and I need to print another size. I just declined and left, partly because I wanted that exact size and partly because I was frustrated with the service.
Frequently printing there large documents that require binding or lamination and the quality is always great. Friendly staff and never had delays. Tried website several times - never works when it comes to checkout and delivery, so just physically visited the store.
Photo wifi doesn't work so you can't print photos from your device in the middle of North Sydney! Unbelievable!
Just went there to try to print some docs. The staff is so rude. There was this girl, couldn't get her name but she has asian background, Asking me to print my docs myself as she was rolling her eyes at me. I didn't have one of those cards to use the printer therefore I tried to talk to her again but she ignored me so I had to leave the place without printing. Terrible service.
Samo the worse Officeworks staff member I ever seen in my entire life. Highly recommend management team to review his performance and attitude if Officeworks care about their business. Shutting the shop before closing hour, rushing customers out and said I need to catch my train! Amazing!
