This is the best Officeworks store in NSW. Excellent product range and a very friendly store layout. You will find all products you need for home office and corporate offices.

It stands to reason that service will be average at a place like this. But when someone is clearly struggling and in a rush under the difficult COVID times, and you can see at least 3 staff behind the counter doing little or nothing it’s very frustrating. A nice girl behind the counter asked one to help me and the level of disinterest from them was clear. I left without my order being completed and won’t be back. If you actually need help as opposed to buying a pen, go to someone local. I found a great local print shop that ended up being cheaper too.

I attended officeworks today to print a document and get it binded. The self-service system is flawed and not customer focused. I need to get an "OfficeWorks" card and top it up with money before I can use the services. Problem is there is no way to know how much money I need on the card. I took a guess and topped it up anyway. So onto the printing. Half of the machines were broken or nearly out of paper. It took well over 10 min to print my document, I mean it's 2021 come on guys. Speed things up! I then proceeded to the binding desk to find out the machine is not working fully and I cannot bind large documents.

On a seperate note, while I was waiting for my document to print and elderly man ask the desk for help. He was told "I can't help you, talk to the printing people". Terrible answer, didn't ever listen to understand what the challenge was. I offered to help the gentleman and he just need guidance to use the touch screen. Took me 2 sec to help him.

It seems like this store is suffering from poor management or leadership.

DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!

ABYSMAL customer service! Not only do they not answer their phones, this organisation doesn’t reply to customer complaints and disrespectfully ignores customers’ efforts to provided information to management! They simply DON’T care about customer experience in the slightest and they’re not to be trusted with honouring and upholding consumer rights and guarantees! It’s just not worth the distress! Their prices are only (just) barely a few dollars less than other retailers but if something goes wrong with a device/computer etc you want to shop with a responsible company not Officeworks! Shop at Big W, JB Hi-Fi, Good Guys or anywhere else; at least you’ll be treated ethically and with dignity and respect! Officeworks simply stands for ravenous greed! They do not deserve your hard earned money or loyalty! Management is appalling which typically reflects staff disrespectful attitudes towards customers! Don’t be deceived by their emotive, “friendly” sounding advertising either (that saturate the airwaves), it’s all a manipulation! As said earlier, they are not at all interested in honouring your consumer rights, they just want your money! It’s up to all of us to call out all retailers who don’t value and respect customers’ loyalty! The only way they will continue to trade like this is if customers do nothing and keep tolerating their disgraceful behaviour! It’s unacceptable! Speak up and walk away good people! You Deserve So Much Better!

Don't try to get binding done here - the machine's been broken for three months. Not that you'd know unless you'd made the effort to visit the store - no useful information on the website and they don't answer the phone. And when you do visit the store with a binding job, the staff just shrug their shoulders.

My experience with printing in office works, North Ryde has been disappointing. All I needed to do is place an order for a custom A3 printing and I had to wait for 45mins! The current process to wait for the person ahead to finish printing the whole job even before you are attended is pretty inefficient customer service. Instead, they can dedicate one person to do all the printing, scanning, etc, while the others in the counter can take orders to reduce the waiting time.

Don’t know if this is a problem- no one answers the phone call. I tried three times and kept waiting for about 10 mins.no answer. The photo was my third try.no answer. They say they open till 9pm

They never answer their calls, rings out everytime, if the staff are that busy they cant answer enquires put more staff on Officeworks!

I tired to price match with other Australian comapny to get 5% off like what you put it up on from of the store. They just Refused price match and just making some stupid excuse. Staffs and store manager got no manners to customers.

Take off that price match poster front of your store. What's a point of putting that up when staffs make some excuse that doesnt even make sense to refuse to do the price match

Great customer service, especially by this tall bloke named Dali.

After I bought a new printer cartridge, I made a mistake of putting both the used cartridge and drum in the recycling bin. I only realised my mistake later that night and went back to the store. The recycle cartridge bins have been packed up by this time. After explaining the situation to the team, Dali came along, went thought bags of used cartridges, got his hands dirty and retrieved the drum for me with a smile.

I am impressed with the level of service and will definitely recommend the store to anyone. Dali is the kind of employee that should be looked after and promoted when opportunity open.

Refused price match without an actual reason. They just thought it maybe different than what they have even though their website advertising the same specs and same item. They just didn't want to price match the other stores. Waste time and misleading.

I bought an office chair from north ryde branch in April during the pandemic. I was using it sparingly but when I started to use it regularly I started having backaches so I wanted to return it / buy an ergonomic chair. However, the manager of the store refused to accept the chair saying that the 30 day change of mind period was over. I felt a lack of empathy for the customer and I thought officeworks being a good brand would put customer satisfaction first, but that's definitely not the case. For selling a sub standard product and unsatisfactory customer experience I wouldn't recommend officework for anything but cheap stationary items.

About last week, I decided to purchase a pair of wireless earphones, I got the empty display packaging box and brought it to the counter, the staffs tried to search for it for more than 10 minutes but can find any stock, then they scan the bar code of the box and their computer showed an different earphone, staffs claimed the bar code is incorrect and apologized for can't get me the product.
The store is not organised, put wrong bar code on product.
