57From the moment your walked from the door to the table the staff are never far, the food time and time again has spoken for itself. Everything from flavour stuffed DimSims to juicy Pekin duck pancakes it's got something to please almost anyone. The Ms9+ steak was cooked to perfection and was complimented with the an amazing wasabi salsa. Extensive wine, sake, whiskey and cocktail list. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. (Covid health plans in place)
Wonderful spot to stop in for lunch in the CBD. We had a great selection of dim sum and larger dishes including the Singapore Noodles. The wait staff were attentive and the design of the restaurant was ambient and a wonderful modern take on traditional Asian interior design.
Food was good but wasn't great.
I mean I liked it but they could have done it better.
I know they have high quality for meat and seafood but the balance of the taste should be perfect with this price range.
Service was phenomenal. All the staffs who serve us were so friendly and attentive.
We are from a Prestige Homewares Wholesale Supplier who is at the forefront of exceptional Customer Service experiences and we hosted a Farewell Dinner for our Head of Customer Contact. Arthur was our Host for the evening and have had a Gold Star visit with Arthur who went completely above and beyond with how he cared for us - a complete asset to the Business!
The food is delicious, and most of the staff are fantastic.
Unfortunately our evening was marred with a particularly rude waiter, and, for the price they charge, plastic chopsticks and paper place mats are a huge disappointment.
Arrived from Melbourne. Was told no booking was required but this was not so. Door staff went out of their way to find us a table. Lovely, generous serves of food. All the staff were wonderful, but our waitress 'Madison ' was exceptional.
One of the best dinners I've ever had. Great vibe, excellent service. The food is just amazing and the sommelier is happy to recommend you the right wine for your choice of food. Excellent place for a special occasion!
Massively over hyped and priced. Staff are pretentious, rushed service yet told we can stay all night (830pm service). Have been a few times before. Seems like things have gone down hill in these COVID-times. Won’t be back. Food still tastes okay, 2 stars.
Dined here with my wife to celebrate and occasion and this place definitely encapsulates fine dining. The decor is amazing and its tribute to Chinese design is truly breathtaking. The staff are professional, sharp and very observant. The food, namely the salt and pepper lamb cutlets and the kung pao chicken are full of flavours that melt in your mouth. Finally the desserts.deep fried ice cream or mango pudding, i couldn't decide so i had both and I definitely have no regrets about it. Easily one of the most memorable experiences to have!
Ambience is great. My partner loved the menu but me not so much. If you don't have a booking, definitely rock up around 5pm to secure yourself a sitting
Had a large group booking
Disappointed about the serving sizes
Was not enough to fill up 14 people
I also lost a blazer
Staff weren't helpful when I arrived the next day to have it looked at and referred me to the website online
They kept refilling still and sparkling when no one requested it and we requested tap water
Place was overrated did not meet our expectations
Not very expensive. Food comes really fast. Dishes are interesting. I had the pig ears and it’s such a surprise. Would recommend to friends for sure.
Atmosphere, service and facilities awesome, but food just seemed to be a bit one dimensional for me. They went out of their way to accommodate our child's requirements.
I did not enjoy my dinner. The service was slow. I often could not get any waitstaff's attention. It is terribly slow service. I got up and manually searched for my waitress and that's when I urged her to make the tea. That was 20 minutes after I ordered it.
I was especially displeased by the clutter on the table as I ate. The tables are too small to command a $100 per head minimum spend, and as a result the food cannot fit on the table. It's uncomfortable to eat when your teacup is touching your plate, which is 1cm away from other plates. It was difficult to enjoy this experience.
The food is mediocre, between bad and ok. Here is a picture of me holding vermicelli noodles that are supposed to be eaten with pippis, but it has been baked into a hard card. I don't imagine anyone would eat this. Everything else is mediocre.
The napkins are starched so stiff that it is akin to wiping your face with a sheet of A4 paper.
A waiter asked me how I enjoyed the evening, and understood that I was displeased. No one came to inquire.
I would not recommend to spend $266 on two people for an unpleasant experience.
Don't believe the hype. Food was good but could get the same in Chinatown for half the price.
More importantly, choose the right people to be the face of your business and money might not come into the equation.
Served by multiple staff members, only one with any personality and the rest were absolutely not the right fit.
Bit disappointed to witness a lobster being dropped on the floor after taken from fish tank. Whilst I know its going to be eaten like all living things it deserves a humain end of life.
Very cool speakeasy Cantonese place in a back alley off Bridge st. Dim sum and crab fried rice were great. Roasted duck hot and sour soup was our favorite. Service was friendly, attentive, and very professional.
This is a chinese resturant designed for non-chinese ppl. The food taste is significantly modified to suit western ppl only. Service is good, environment too, price is very expensive. If you want geniune chinese food, this is not the place.
Great food, crispy eggplant is a winner as well as the beef short rib. Fried rice is not super oily but the Typhoon Shelter style has A LOT of fried garlic on it so be careful. Really enjoyed the Cheung Fun with the prawn and fried bread inside as it is hard to find anywhere else. Would love to come back to try more things on the menu!
I was surprised at quality of food. Being a Melbourne man that has similar restaurants by the dozen to choose. Great company helped with the long wait for table.
