NB: since my last review, I appreciate that things happen for a reason. Only a couple of months later, I found a more suitable rental home where I am happy. I will speak to their Riverwood office to manage an investment property I now have available for rent in that area. Thank you so much.

At first the agent was professional at the open home in relation to a property available in the Portico building on York St. I immediately submitted my application to live in this property, only two floors from where I currently live for much cheaper rent. I understand that there was competition to live in this building, yet I've never been rejected for a rental home before. This is despite having a clean rental history, as well as multiple assets including an investment property of my own, and a secure permanent job in addition to owning my own business. I mean I even got a rental home in the past for only $50 a week less rent when I had NO JOB!

This agent had no hesitation asking to conduct a free rental appraisal of my investment property, when I did not specifically ask for this. This agent also advised me (the day after I applied to live in said property) that they would phone my manager at work the next day (as in last week), only for them to call early this week when my manager happened to be at a funeral. My manager texted me this morning (only 2 days later, totally understandable) advising that he is putting my rental reference through, and I am so dumfounded as to why my rental application was rejected (no phone call mind you, just a text and e-mail) only a short while later the very same day, despite the fact that the owners are based overseas. It's interesting how a response came this fast, when otherwise the whole process was slow, despite being a busy time. And I don't understand, considering that I have lived in the same building for 5.5 years paying much higher rent.

The Form1 form to apply is also clunky. Just allow old school paper to apply for rental properties. Not recommended. Dealing with this agency has left a sour feeling where I no longer trust real estate agents/property managers anymore. Landlord and tenants please avoid this place.

All paperwork is done electronically, everything is managed through the app, very convenient. Nicole was very quick with the application turn around and very responsive.

Fantastic service from the Morton property management team and in particular, our property manager, Sarah. Sarah is very responsive and an excellent problem solver. I would not hesitate to recommend Sarah to anyone needing a professional, calm and resourceful property manager.

Sarah Tanti is extremely rude, unprofessional, and illogical. To be honest I am even surprised she is working in the office.

I went to view the apartment and the agent couldn't access the building. Was promised a private inspection and despite chasing this up daily no one would email or call back. When I finally got hold of someone they were not apologetic and of no assistance. Once the agent changed to Naomie everything was much more professional and timely. Morton's 1 star, Naomie 5 stars.

Vicki Owen went out of her way to work through getting the tenancy application approved despite some problems from my side of things.

I contacted with Naomie first and she promptly responded me and gave her time to open the inspection. She was so helpful with Q&A and helped me through the application matters. Then Patricia can along after the application got approved. Pat is also provided us with the all the steps to get this tenancy.
