I have purchased from them before and was happy with the quality and an Australian Company.

I then purchased a leather belt which was unbelievably stiff and uncomfortable.
After very little use, the leather loop that the excess belt end goes through BROKE.

On inspection it is STAPLED together with TWO THIN PAPER STAPLES and proven to not be fit for their purpose.

I emailed pics and details to MORTELS, and several days later I received an ABUSIVE RESPONSE.

They DO NOT ACCEPT FEEDBACK OF PRODUCT OR FAULTY WORKMANSHIP WELL.

ANY REPUTABLE COMPANY WOULD HAVE ACCEPTED THE FEEDBACK AND INVESTIGATED MORE SUITABLE AND SUBSTANTIAL MANUFACTURING PROCESS AND MATERIALS.

So, for the sake of ATROCIOUS lack of customer service skills and procedures and the minimal cost of a couple of more substantial robots, studs or staples, MORTELS HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER.

Unfortunately the security person was very abrupt and made our visit feel very rushed. I understand that it is a small venue and numbers must be closely monitored but we came ready to buy. The UGGs themselves very uncomfortable, the bottoms are so thin that you are walking directly on the hard soles. The customer service people were lovely but so full on that I didn't have a chance to browse further. Left empty handed and disappointed.

Great experience whilst in the store. Customer service was amazing, Leanne was very helpful in explaining how the boots fit and ways to preserve and maintain them.

Not very happy with the amount of stock available, I was also unimpressed with the amount of Chinese imported boots

Really beautiful items to buy, but because of the covid virus, the demonstration of makeing the Ugg boots was not available to see.

Placed an order on the weekend and they were delivered on Wednesday-during a pandemic! The shoes are high quality and unique - one modern pair of women's uggs and one men's sockassins. Workmanship is excellent and the styles and colours are beautiful. We love them!

Great place to go and shop. Store is taking social distancing very seriously, you have a personal shopper take you through store, just hard if you wanted to browse, but all in all, the level of service is great and the product range is still as good as ever.

Friendly staff and great product range, make sure you grab a bacon and egg roll at the cafe while you're there!

Excellent range of products and such a good price. Walking in the cafe the place is super busy. Rightfully so the menu looks amazing and the food we got was sooo yummy. The salad was fresh and the eggs were perfect. The coffee was a made so well and the lady serving us was so friendly and happy. It is nice to go to a place with lovely people serving you in the cafe and in the factory. Thank you

Great service and friendly staff had just what I had been looking for and at a reasonable price.

Just bought a new pair after my last pair carked it after about 10yrs.
And that's only because I had the soft sole ones and wore out the sole by going outside a lot. My bad

Price is on the highish side BUT definitely value for money. Brunch was delicious and the chips where old school chunky and crunchy. Certainly a fresh change and a pleasure to dine here.

Very interesting and good to have a tour of the work area but unfortunately the products on sale are too costly although top quality the restaurant is fantastic and very reasonabley priced

Lots of products made on site, plus a museum. The cafe provides a fabulous range of meals at very reasonable prices. The big ugg boots, which are 'dressed up for special occasions' make a great photo opportunity.

Great cafe with 5 star food! We loved the service from Mortel Sheep Skin Factory Josh Mortel and Tony Mortel were so entertaining and plight we love our near gear! Cheers Tony and Josh!

Had to get new ugg boots after my last pair let me down after just 15 years and the pair before that 10 years so I'm a repeat customer.very good service great staff I'll be back one day (I hope) my son also got a pair they are the best you can get

Had a beautiful tasty lunch at the Cafe at Mortels at Thornton. Wonderful friendly staff and excellent food. Definitely recommend it.
