I purchased my property through MMJ North 2 years ago and have since been a customer as a landlord. The team as a whole is excellent, always friendly, helpful and dealing with all concerns and correspondence promptly and efficiently. They provide excellent service at competitive rates.
My main dealings have been with Andrew Heard and more recently Claire Beattie. Over the past 2 years Andrew's service has been exceptional. His years of experience and detailed knowledge of the industry and of the local market is outstanding and has been very helpful to me as a landlord from out of the area. He has a common sense approach and knows his tenants well. He has always been readily accessible, responding to all phone calls and emails extremely promptly and regularly considerably out of hours. He has always provided good advice and is able to recommend quality trades which proved very helpful during a major unit makeover. His experience ensures his competence and efficiency in handling the more difficult issues which may arise from time to time in property management. He always promptly advised of any issues arising and provided good advice and excellent handling of any concerns.
Claire Beattie has recently taken on the management of my property and in a short period has proven to also provide excellent customer service. Having been vacant for an extensive period for major refurbishment, Claire successfully began the re-leasing process as completion approached. She was able to secure an excellent tenant promptly so as to ensure there was no wait time between property completion and leasing. Her attention to detail in processing applicants and her prompt, detailed and timely correspondence regarding all applicants ensured a successful leasing process. She went to great efforts to ensure that all my requests were met and that the successful applicant matched my expectations. Her communication was outstanding keeping me well informed throughout the entire process and answering my many questions. Her service to both myself and the tenant did not stop upon leasing. Follow-up was provided to ensure satisfaction for both the tenant and landlord. Clair has done a brilliant job at releasing my unit, securing great tenants for the desired rent.
I highly recommend as managing agents both Andrew Heard and Claire Beattie, along with the entire MMJ North team.

I rented through MMJ north between 2014-2018, One of the worst real estates I’ve ever dealt with, most incompetent property managers taking weeks or months to get anything done, one time I had an inspection and the property manager didn’t turn up, when I called to find out what happened apparently she couldn’t find my front door.

Their property management team is a joke
They do not action urgent issues including major health issues and simply ignore these issues for months on end without action
They FAIL miserably as property managers and I would NEVER choose them to manage my own investment property
