45I bought a pair of rose gold thread earrings that I love. When I removed my jumper they got caught one fell on the floor and broke. With my warranty they were immediately replaced
I was in chatswood branch in Sydney. I bought a ring and asked for resizing they told me it would be ready in one week. But after one week I did not receive any phone call, and when I called they told me It would be ready tomorrow and they will going to call me back. After one day still no one call me. So I call them lady on phone told me she could not find it in a system and told me her manager will call me back at same day, but no one call me after 6hours waiting for manager to call I have to call the store again and lady told me his manager just left a store and maybe my ring would be ready on Tuesday. I asked for exact date and she told me as she could not find it in a system she could not tell me when it would be ready and manager was so busy to call me back. So disappointing and when I told them tomorrow I will be there for refund, manager call me after 10 minutes and told me he receive the message from me but because her staff forget to put my name and it was just my number he did not call me back and he just called to let me know I could not refund that ring because I asked for resizing even I receive my worse customer service and still they could not tell me when It would be ready. I really like that ring but I will never ever buy anything else from them
Older clerk with short black hair was abrasive even in a short interaction. I asked about a refund and wasn't aware there was a nick on the ring, which I wasn't aware of - i.e. It couldn't be refunded. That's fine, but after the younger sales assistant asked the older one about it, she went on a mini rant about people coming in for refunds. All I said was "oh, I didn't know that" then I left.
TL;DR older clerk needs to improve her customer service face
I was dealing with Nastaran and she was so pleasant! She helped me through my engagement ring purchase - we discussed using my own diamonds but we came it the decision to buy one of the beautiful Michael Hill rings

I found a beautiful ring that was exactly what I wanted in the price range. I was helped by Nastaran who patiently helped me and showed me different options available. I couldn't enjoy the experience more. I absolutely recommend this store and its lovely staff.
Purchased a ring from this shop with the life time diamond warranty. Went back today to have a diamond replaced that had fallen out. I was served by a lady named Nasseran. When I presented the ring to her she immediately said sorry this ring wouldn't have life time diamond warranty. She was even reluctant to check if I had warranty on the ring.
After almost getting into an argument with this lady she finally checked and to her surprise I had life time warranty on the ring.
Now after discovering I in fact did have warranty. Nasseran laughed and said have you had this ring assessed every 6 months? I said No I wasn't made aware that I needed to. Nasseran laughed again and said sorry it won't be covered under warranty you need to have it checked every 6 month for life time warranty. Nasseran then said don't worry it's a cheap diamond it wouldn't cost much to replace. At this point I was very shocked and annoyed with her service.
•Firstly she dismissed I had warranty.
•Secondly she laughed I had warranty and I didn't have it checked every 6 months.
•Thirdly she said don't worry it's cheap and I can replace it at my own cost.
Didn't realise buying a $500 dollar ring reduced from $800 at the time was cheap.
Also since when do you need to have and iteam checked every 6 months in order to have valid warranty? Seem like a Con that I was never told I needed to bring the ring back every 6 months? I believe this is why she laughed because Nasseran knew this information isn't mentioned.
Bought a nice ring at decent price compared to the other Westfield jeweler, my issue is when I went to pay for the ring the $300 long term service fee was added to my bill without me knowing, once I realize after already paying I asked for refund and the older lady started an aggressive sales pitch trying to push me to just get it.
I don’t know if it was added on purpose or accident but really you should double check with customers if they want it instead of just adding it to the bill.
The staff at Michael Hill are great. So genuine and really put in the effort to help me find the perfect gift for my friends 21st! I'll see you guys again soon

Had an engagment ring resized, I’m so disappointed! The ring itself is no longer smooth and straight it’s so wonky! I won’t be going to Michael hill for anything else! The service was quite snobby too!

This is the best Michael Hill store I’ve ever visited!
At the end of my short shopping trip with some girlfriends I decided to stop by for a quick look. At first I was just getting ideas for a present for a loved one but Shaun and Nastaran were so helpful and I walked away with some gorgeous jewellery my Mum will cherish forever! The store and staff were all well presented and the store felt very welcoming! Best customer service! Thank you again Shaun and Nastaran! You guys are amazing! My mother fell in love with her gifts!
Today I visited the Michael Hill store in Chatswood, I was greeted instantly by the manager named Shaun. I have not had such good customer service like his in such a long time. The store was quite busy but he was attentive and really listened to our needs. I’m happy to say I made a beautiful purchase for my bride to be. We are so happy that Shaun made this a memorable experience for us. Thank you Shaun and we hope you will be recognised for your hard work. Ps thanks for a great coffee it’s even better that what we can get in the centre!
Seems more relaxed than normal Michael Hill stores but I’m a good way!
Jewellery is great and store is nice and tidy.
I went to the chatswood store with my partner to look at engagement rings. The service was amazing! They took the time to talk us through everything and not once were we rushed or pressured into buying anything. I am truly amazed at the customer service. Would recommend.
We were served by Anva and her manager Shaun - they made me feel relaxed with coffees and bought out their secret stash of Tim tams as my partner and I spent more than an hour looking at rings. We felt like we were the only people in the whole store which made it feel like a really special moment. Amazing experience! I love my ring!
The ladies were most helpful, myself knowing nothing about jewellery trying to find my sister a graduation gift:)
Rude customer service. When you’re looking for a gift to purchase and would like to later return to buy it, the person helping you shouldn’t say “why do you want to buy it then? ” in a rude tone with an angry facial expression.would not purchase from here if the customer service is this bad
