Took our car there for Service. A very expensive regular service. Wthey kept it for 3 days, picked it up on thr fourth day and they wouldn't even return the car washed.

Took my Alfa to my local mechanic, identified an issue but explained he didn’t have time to deal with the issue prior to Christmas so went to McCarolls they came up with $2500 worth of additional work, sent to me via text after I specifically told them to call and discuss, went to another Alfa specialist who seemed to have the same view as my original mechanic. Trusting my gut saved me over 2.5K. It really felt like price gauging/a service guy trying to meet his targets.

Not recommended. When I purchased the car, as part of the negotiation instead of reducing the price, there dealer offered the free service for three years. When a year later I brought the car in, I discussed this with them, they confirmed that yes I have a free service. Staff told me I'd get an SMS with a link to view the work that will be done and I need to approve it. Which I did without thinking twice since I was promised the free service. To my surprise turns out they snuck in "extra" services supposedly not covered by their free promise. I was not warned about this. They were adamant that since I approved I had to pay. Their manager was dismissive and refused to deal with the situation fairly. I ended up paying a few hundred dollars for the "free" service promised to me.

I'm still waiting for a phone call to tell me when I can pick my car up after a warranty repair.
Its 4.45 pm They close at 5.30 and I am at least 40 mins away!

Unprofessional staff with poor communication skills. My car (2017 Renault Koleos) had to be towed back to the workshop 3 times in 3 months. On all occasions I needed to chase staff in providing updates on the status and repair of my vehicle. Escalation to McCarrolls Group or Renault Australia did not result in any response. Recommend to consider an alternative dealership when purchasing and servicing your car.

Unprofessional staff.
I dropped my car and I haven't heard back until I called back one week later.
They prices for services are unrealistic also not much of help if you had issue with some faulty parts that have been recalled from Jeep.
I have paid for a service they never carried out.
Still waiting for the reports they promised to send me.

Most unprofessional people i have ever dealt with. They just want your money and forget about good customer service. We have been here twice, and both times have been very disappointed. Never again will we be going there, they have just lost 3 customers.

Took my car in with a defective AC system and got charged a $165 diagnosis fee in addition to the AC regas fee.

A few months later the AC is out of gas again, these guys refuse to even look at the car without charging another $165 diagnosis fee.

Don't bother escalating to the manager either, he won't even listen to the customer's perspective before interjecting what he has to say.

Definitely avoid these guys, there are better smaller repair shops that are much more deserving of your business.

Bad experiences, forgot my rental car requested at booking, forgot to fill service book after picking, key cover was missing, air conditioning doesn't blow cool after car service (I pretty sure I was enjoying it cool when I was driving to there). Leichhardt fiat was far way better.

I took my Jeep to McCarrols Roseville after having a very positive experience the first time. The second visit, however, was very different.

Firstly I didn’t give permission to have my car vacuumed let alone to vacuum my console with three items in there. After picking up my car, I realised a very special sentimental item was missing from my console. It was a large shark tooth worn by my brother who passed away two years ago. A priceless and irreplaceable momentum.
From the careless workers at McCarrols the item was clearly vacuumed and is now lost in either their vacuum of dumpster. I went back straight away in hope that the workers had found it. Feeling very heartbroken and a simple sorry, lack of empathy and a look in the dumpster doesn’t cut it.

I was super impressed from Go to whoa with my Renault servicing experience at McCarrolls. All the service team, from the girl who took my call to book my service, to Anthony who served me when I dropped my car off & the 2 courtesy bus drivers - the customer service I received was second to none & nothing short of exemplary! In addition, the communication I received in relation to suggested repairs that were found during the service which included photographs of the areas requiring work was amazing! Over the years I have dealt with a number of service departments at various dealerships for cars that I have owned & my recent service experience at McCarrolls Renault & Jeep was unequivocally head & shoulders above the pack! The service team at McCarrolls should be commended for their professionalism, outstanding customer service & are all a credit to the Renault brand! Thanks guys, I will definitely be recommending your service department & dealership to all my family, friends & colleagues

Nice work by reception staff and nice facilities but could not wheel align my Jeep with the steering wheel straight on two visits. Repaired the vehicle underneath at one end and broke the other end as a result. Very expensive upsell replacing brake pads early. Try somewhere else for Jeep service. Very unhappy.

Just had my Alfa Romeo 4C serviced here today. I would definitely come back again. All the staffs are friendly and helpful and I really love the clean environment. This will be the only place I would go to have my car serviced.

I have serviced my Renault Koleso few times each time there was no problems, last service they forgot to do regular service, even though I have booked one online and made phone call, they were arguing their point.

08/05/2019 - Took my car in for a malfunctioning Driver door; it won't lock with remote. The receptionist lady confirmed to collect my car on 09/05/2019 around 5: 30 PM

09/05/2019 - Went in to collect my car, and I was told that the car hasn't been looked at. The gentleman who deals with Service Center said they don't normally commit to a fix that soon. I asked receptionist on why was I told to collect, to which she apologized for the "miscommunication".

What it costed me: 3 billable work hours + $24 for taxi fare.

Extremely dissatisfied with the way things were handled. Jeep in my eyes has better reputation.

Went with a friend of mine to pick up his car.
Large service centre with easily accessible car park.
We were told the car was ready over the phone but was still being worked on when we got there.
Staff are ok but expect a better customer service and reception. A smile on face makes a big difference in customer experience. I liked their online portal where recommended additional service details are recorded and quotation is sent fir approval via email.
Prices are on the high side. $80 to change parking light bulb.
A small kids playing area has been set up in the waiting room and tea, coffee, fruits are offered.

This is the worst customer service ever they never return phone calls. They had my Renault Clio for 13 days and didn’t fix the problem. I had to hire a car and this was all under warranty Ut has cost me at least a $1000 in cabs and car hire. They made out there was nothing wrong with the auto gearbox even though it has been constantly coming up as a message and Renault assist said it was the suspected problem. They gave the car back to me. I fixed the tyre problem. I called them to say I was concerned that once again check the auto gearbox message had come up. They ignored my concern I told them I was worried it my break down as I was going a family weeding in Newcastle on the Saturday and sure enough the car broke down at Ourimbah Now it is at Gosford and they can’t start to look at till the 19th March once again I am hiring cabs & cars The inconveniences and stress is enormous Now I have to leave at Gosford as it was the closest dealership I called Mccarrolls at Roseville’s service centre and they assured me they would call back as I had to let them know what had happened over the weekend. As usual nothing I am absolutely disgusted with their lack of care or service as they were the ones who have had the car and did nothing to make sure it was roadworthy. I will also be making formal complaint to Renault Australia I have no idea now when I will get my car back as I live in Sydney Mccarrolls Roseville honestly done care about their customers at all I can’t afford to hiring cars and at no time have they even tried to lend me car When they had my car I constantly had keep telling them what was the problem There seems to be no communication I would call every day to find out what was happening and always the same answer we will call back and nothing Today was the last straw as alerted them to the car breaking down one week after I got back Knowing my luck with this post they still wont be bothered to follow up as customer care doesn’t exist at Mccarrolls Roseville.
