Marsupial Park reviews
55Great place to take the kids, but feeling like they missed a few things as I put my hand through these not knowing they were there!
Great place to take kids and just the whole family. Very kid friendly. It has nice facilities and a great park for kids to play in. Definitely going back!
Cute little park. Well worth a visit specially if you have kids as there is a large play area. We quite liked it too witout kids. Very good for it being free.
The best place to bring you kids in Tamworth by far. Just a short drive from the CBD. There is a huge play area now that has been newly built.
There are loads of native animals here that you can get right up to. All run by volunteers, they just ask for an optional gold coin donation which is well worth it. Bring the kids up on a weekend and you will not be disappointed at all. Thanks to the local council for maintaing the area as well.
Beautifully looked after animal sanctuary. Lots of birds and a great picnic area with a modern play area for the kids
Really cool park. Interactive animals, adventure playground, picnic areas and it is all just for a donation.
It's a great little place to visit and take your children and there is a great park plenty of animals and plants and trees its definitely worth the visit and entry into the park is free
This is probably the best place for kids I've ever been to. Not only educational, but entertaining as well. Feeding kangaroos, discussing important issues with parrots, chasing peacocks and of course playing, jumping, sliding, rolling, spinning, climbing.everything that a 4yo loves.
I can't believe this park is free! Great place to bring kids. Or a nice place to visit on your own. I found it very calming to sit in the free flight avery watching and listening to the birds. The black cockatoo Duchess is beautiful and very friendly, she came for a pat. There was a galah in the same cage which was also very friendly, coming over for a pat and raising its foot to "shake hands". Well worth a visit.
Great place! Highly recommend, we loved the Major Mitchell cockatoos and Corellas so funny. The wallaroos were very cute
My granddaughter asked to go somewhere with animals for her birthday. Wow! Start with free entry, then close encounters with animals and birds, and a great play area. Thank you!
Wonderful. Left a decent donation as the volunteers work hard and keep the animals in great condition.
One of best place to hangout with your family during weekend.
Larde area with kids ride and animals and variety of birds. Generally not crowded and kids will love this place
Very enjoyable play ground area for the children. Area is on hills, not for elderly, or disabled who have walking difficulties.i had only seen an emu sitting on eggs, and cockatoos that can mimic a few words, plenty of seats to picnic or bbq.
One of the nicest places I've been to and The Tamworth people need to be very proud if the place they have made.
