Maroubra Medical Centre

If I could give no stars I would. The staff here are disgusting and are an absolute disgrace. They publicly disclosed my health on social media on my platforms and talking in detail how they purposely not trying to treat me properly.
It looks like they’ve been harassing me for years before I even became a patient doing and saying even nastier things so they’re probably mentally ill or just hate their jobs.

I was very disappointed with the service I recieved. I visited the doctor and kindly asked her numerous of times for certain medication for my condition as my housemate had already been treated in this centre from the same condition. She told me to try this cream and if doesnt work to come back. My conditions worsen and when I went to book the second appointment I was told I would have to pay another consult fee. The receptionists I spoke with were very helpful but I was disgusted to be told I would have to pay again when the the doctor had already told me to come back if the cream doesn't help. Due to the current economic times I am unable to afford to pay to see the doctor again. I am left with no choice but to have to pay to see another doctor to get the treatment I require.

My 6 year old son came back from
school with a few mosquito-bite spots on his back. After 1 hour he had an allergic reaction and got itchy hives everywhere on his body. I visited this site at 8: 20pm (they close at 9pm and there was only one lady with her kid in the waiting room) and I asked if a doctor could see my son, as I didn’t think it
was safe to put my son to sleep while the reaction was still active. The receptionist said that she would have to ask the doctor as they do not accept new patients. Dr refused to see us and receptionist asked if it’s ok for us to come back.the next morning, or call the after hours GP service! I refused kindly and drove to Bondi Junction Medical and Dental, where a lovely dr saw my son straight away.

Don’t usually leave reviews but came in on Sunday with my mother in law, the receptionist was extremely helpful, well mannered and took the time to book her appointments and answer every question we had. Will definitely recommend this practice after the positive experience we had. Very clean, friendly staff, organised and didn’t have to wait to long which was a bonus as well.

All the doctor are the best and the receptionist are always so helpful and friendly thank you so much for your help

Thoroughly useless. Says that they're open until 10pm, refuses to see any new patients after 7: 30pm. Forced to use the public hospital, which places unnecessary strain on their resources.

The blonde receptionist with the pony tail needs to learn how to smile.she looks like she hates her job.
She is the rudest thing I’ve ever come across. Management need to do something about her. They MaKe it very hard to see your regular doctor. MANAGEMENT SORT IT OUT!

Had the best medical receptionist i ever met last night. Our toddler was ill. This lady must be from the country side or something. Never met such a lovely medical receptionist in Sydney living here.

So Look disappointed made an appt for my mother 2 weeks ago as I work dull time and she text a letter today -the day before - to advise not possible that Dr had changed to monday-a work day! No communication to confirm that this was acceptable JUST A LETTER OF ADVICE-DO THEY NOT UNDERATANDS WE MAKE APPT THAT FAR IN ADVANCE BECAUZSE WE HAVE COMMITMENTS AND NEED TO PLAN! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED WIRH TGHE SEEVICE

I see dr Kiang and he is great, the receptionist are all lovely except one who is blonde and very very rude

Every single appointment I’ve made in the past two years has been running a minimum 40minutes behind. Not sure what the point of by appointment only clinic is. It would better work first in first served.

The worst doctor ever. Never going back again. The doctor I met, spent less than a minute for the appointment and kept saying she couldn't do anything, as the symptom can't be healed.

I am so upset after seeing Dr Moore (female) I went to her for a long standing pain. She spent less than 30 minutes with me in 2 appointments, new nothing of my previous health issues, nor my long term problems with depression, In short she said my complaint was psychological and told me I needed mental health treatment. When I wanted to discuss my pain she would not listen. I would not recommend this woman to anyone. I AM SO BADLY HURT BY THIS WOMAN. In my opinion she has no empathy, sense of caring or concern ans is in the wrong profession.

Superb service, I wasn't registered which took little under 10 mins, sat and waited only 20 minutes before being seen, Doctor was great, receptionists very nice and helpful, thank you!

My Doctor is Dr Vandebona and she is excellent, but now and then I see other doctors and also they are very good, very professional and caring, Nurses are a plus.

Worst medical practice in Australia badly managed and standard doctors is very low, reception look like they don't like their clients and the first availible waiting least is a rip off you can wait 2-4 hrs.
I have been to medical centres all over Australia and in some third world countries and this place is the worst.

Dr Jasonkiang and dr chan are amazing doctors. If you need a gp this is the place to be. Great staff and well organized practice.

Went to the medical center today with my adult son who has Autism we saw Dr Hyun Ahn he was great with my son as my son said he was very efficient as well as having a sense of humour

Worst medical centre I have ever been. Wanted to get a check up and told im not allowed do yearly check ups until im 40. Disgrace of a place
