What a gem! This was one of the best exhibits I’ve seen in my travels - only $10 to see the enormous amazing collection the wonderful hosts have spent many years and many $$$ putting together. With photos and videos, costumes and vehicles, the story of the Mad Max series is extremely well displayed. Highly recommend a must see!
An added bonus to find more information on my second cousin Byron Kennedy who was a co producer of these films. RIP Byron.

If you are in to Mad Max, don't miss this museum. A must see with authentic artefacts from the movies made in and around Silverton

Fantastic tribute to the film with many excellent props and items from the movie. Take the time to take in this Aussie gem in the outback, all thanks to a english fan.

Maybe great for the movie die hards, however most in poor condition and dirt floor under vehicles that are decaying.

Amazing place! All the photos videos and vehicles are insane! Just a reminder check the opening hours. Normally they close on Monday's. I forgot to check that so I have to come back to Silverton next day. 100% recommended!

If you are a Mad Max fan, it's awesome, if you are not a fan of Mad Max, it is still awesome. You will learn so much about the background. Have a chat to the passionate owners and you will learn more. A must if you are anywhere near Broken Hill

Wonderful collection of rare memorabilia and reproductions.
Friendly staff and very affordable.
Time for larger premises if it often gets as busy as when we were here!

Try to park away from the entrance where possible to increase photo opportunities. Have some cash handy and then pop into this quality themed little museum packed with heaps of nostalgic memorabilia.

As a crazy boy Mad Max 2 fan my journey here was a quest of a lifetime. In hindsight, it was about as good as I expected.

Certainly worth a look for the price. Interesting stuff here to check out, particularly the video clips on the making of the movies and the stunts.

Absolutely loved this place. If you're a fan of the movie it is a must to do. Talked to the owner who let my son in for the concession price even though he was clearly over 16 (he is about 2 inches taller than me). Told me how he came out from England and how he set up the museum. He also advised me to go the the Mundi Mundi lookout which I did and enjoyed. My only regret was there wasn't more but what was there was really interesting and enjoyable. The setting was awesome and the fact they shot the movie in that area added to the museum's authenticity. Would highly recommend.

Loved it. Really glad we went out there to see it. The owners are great, happy to share some stories and give directions to where scenes were shot. Not bad for a couple of Poms. Can't believe it took a couple of Pommies to promote this great movie and location. Well done.

Very interesting and comprehensive museum of the classic film. A lot more artefacts than I thought including costumes, vehicles, photographs’s etc. A must, especially for fans of the film.

Good for enthusiasts of the movie. Would rather see things a bit more spread out and accessible. The photos are the best part.
