Macchiato Wood Fire Pizza & Coffee Roastery

Well, being a vegetarian from india i dint find much options to eat so i ordered a red sauce pizza wich i dint like much.i regret not ordering a pasta fr myself but gonna try it next time fr sure. Though my boyfriend liked the place and food.

Great food and service, must try the lamb shoulder it’s amazing and the wood fired oven pizzas are fabulous. Great meals here came back for breakfast and dinner during my visit to Sydney.

Food was good, but service could be way better.

I noticed that other tables were asked/served water upon sitting, but we were just sat and left there alone.
When waiting to order, was trying to catch a few waiteresses’ eyes, but they just looked past me.
One even swept past the back of my chair and dropped my cardigan on the floor but didn’t bother to pick it up or tell me that it has fallen on the floor.

Such a shame that I have to give such a low review because the pizza and overall ambience of the place was really good.

This the worst restaurants that I’ve eaten at in Aus.

PS. The only polite person there was the cashier, bartender and one other waiter who smiled and acknowledged our table’s presence at the end of my meal.

We were a group of 15 and told that we could only have the set menu at a cost of $45 each person. Entrè was very good and lots of variation but main course pizzas were very ordinary. No choice for desert, only Nutella pizzas. And to top it all off, without being prior knowledge, when we went to pay we were charged an extra 5% because we were a large group! Won't be back again.

A very good Italian Restaurant. The interior is well designed. I loved the home-style pizza which was delicious. The only negative thing I would say was that it was a bit hot inside, and that the Cannoli shell was too hard.

Overall it was a good place to eat and enjoy the ambience. I liked the low lights and the cosy atmosphere. I loved the pizza as it was well cooked and the ingredients seemed fresh. The prices however, were a little bit on the premium side, but it was all worth the experience.

Coffee is really good i have been going most mornings for a while, i had the chance to sit down for lunch today and thought it was the best Italian menu in the city.the meal was excellent and priced well to

This place is just gorgeous. Some of the best Eggs Benny's I've ever had. Not too mention the coffee! I have lactose free milk (not almond, soy or macadamia) which this place has. Will definitely come back here next time we're in Sydney

Good pizza and good service. Noisy restaurant, but they were happy to seat us in a corner away from the live music which made conversation a bit easier.

The pizza was absolutely rubbish, tasteless and I needed a magnifying glass to see the ingredients. The pizza was $27, I’ve had a better $4 pizza from Aldi. Oh and the effort they put in to make an Italian chicken salad was terrible. The coffee is average at best!

Great food. Smoked flavor in the ribs and the eye fillet was well rested. Waiter was delightful with great knowledge of the menu. Definitely will return. Thanks for a great anniversary dinner Oriane.

We ate dinner here last night and were not disappointed. Our server, Oriane was very attentive and super friendly. She made sure we were happy throughout our dinner. We had a Cesar salad and shared truffle sausage pizza and both were amazing. We finished off with tiramisu which we highly recommend. We would definitely come again. And the live music was fantastic.

We had a great time and our friend definitely had a fabulous birthday celebration experience here! Hussy, our waiter was so friendly and he did his job very well! The food was awesome as well.

We have been there several times and the staff had been very friendly even though they were very busy; good pizza, good salat and very good Bruschetta; would definitely go again

My experience was very pleasant, the chef seems to take great pride in his presentation, but unfortunately the food is rather bland especially for the $40 it cost me for pancakes, oats and a coffee.

Been to the restaurant with the family last month. Great food (pizza and pasta) in a nice relaxing atmosphere. We were well serviced by a friendly staff member (Phelipe). Will definitely come back again.
