One of the waiters farted near our heads as we received our drinks.

Also slushies were melted and overflowing onto the table, clearly too full.

I saw a rat in the kitchen area too, and the tall white haired matre d pocketing cash tips for his staff we left in the jar

It's very classic looking but scheik I believe is the word. Staff are friendly and fast. Carrot cake is soft and delicious. Flavor is mild with beautiful undertones of vanilla, I'm guessing. Frosting is not overly sweet with a great flavor as well. The chocolate sauce and honey drizzle are a nice touch. The risotto coffee has a gentle smell, but a bold elegant flavor. Definitely something you need to try while your here.

This is our second trip to Sydney this year, and third visit to Macchiato. While we've enjoyed a number of items from their menu, we continue to love their pizza - particularly the "Carnivora". Appetizers have consistently been a cut above, as have been their desserts. My wife has yet to have even a so-so red wine - so far, so very good. We do rank Macchiato very highly.

Fabulous food and staff are friendly and very helpful our waiter Massimo (Max) best waiter. We went the next night and it was awesome. Taha and Nika are workers as is Massimo. Thank you for your kindness and good service

Great coffee in a clean, cosy but spacious venue. Huge choice of delicious food so we will definately be back for dinner as their pizza, desserts and cocktails sound devine

The food literally took forever. They had me on hold for like 20 minutes. My food total came out to $46 and they charged my card twice!

Decent coffee and friendly staffs! Its near my school and all the guys remember each student’s name and coffee taste, which is amazing!

We came in a little hesitant by the negative comments about the service but was so glad we gave this place a chance! We ordered the Seafood Marinara and Lasagna Bolognaise and I cant recommend both of those dishes enough! Our waiter was extremely attentive to us, providing us extra crockery and wet wipes. We’ll definitely be back!

Food is horrible, coffee is horrible. You'd think you can't go wrong with pizza but clearly they can. Honestly don't understand how or why it's so busy.

Great food and super friendly wait staff. I am coeliac and they accommodated me easily and recommended the pasta as that had the lowest chance of cross contamination. Highly recommend!

Amazing customer service with exceptional food! The staff were very accommodating for all our needs and requirements and the food tasted amazing and authentic! One very big and happy group of people! Will definitely be returning!

Poor, poor service. I can't comment on the food - though from what the last customers had left on the table the waiter showed me to, it looked ok. I waited 15 minutes for someone to come and clear, then left after another 30 when no one had come to take my order. Lots of staff and the place was not busy. From reading other recent reviews i get the sense the place is starting to slide. A pity.
